It only took me until the 2nd movie is almost out! But I finally have the pattern complete for the two types of Sardaukar Swords from Dune in 2021. Good references were very elusive, but it finally worked out.
They will be built as foam props and patterns will be published on my Etsy site.
Feels like a great accomplishment.

Spent the week making my wife Anna Foran an Ahsoka costume! EVA foam armor and headpiece. Laser cut foam accents. We dyed a dress the right color and heat pressed foil accents. She got lots of compliments at the Halloween party at the club and a treat bag from the DJ.
Update: i was reminded i forgot to post the most important piece. The chapstick holder on the utility belt! Photo added.

Less than 3 day build and paint job. Mighty Thor helmet for Halloween. Also proof of concept for my pattern.
Ps. She didn't want the mask. This is my first time painting armour with a brush. Used 4mm base and Cricut cut 2mm details from Cosplay Apprentice Plaidfx Chrome Armor for primary color.

Early on I mentioned that we were going to try steel in 2022. This is my first attempt in more than 30 years. So far just starting the grind and nothing to show but stock removal. 1095 steel. 12 inch x 1.5 inch. Dwarf style inspired tanto.
