Apologies to anyone who sent an email and had it bounce back, there was an account issue that only recently came to light. It is working again now however!

Did you enjoy Fury at the Firehouse last year? Well they are back in Southampton town tomorrow night, at Suburbia!

15/04/2022

TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT! Doors open in just over half an hour at the Firehouse, and tickets will be available on the door. Be sure to be there early for Opensight at 7.30. If you can, please consider taking a Lateral Flow Test before leaving as there will be some Clinically Vulnerable, and Clinically Extremely Vulnerable people in attendance.

This is a mistake I made and learned from very early on. 😅

This time next week, the music will have just wound down from what will be an epic night with a trio of fantastic performances. I cannot state how excited I am to be finally putting this gig on! I first saw Dakesis 10 years ago and have seen them and Fury a fair few times over the years, it is a privilege to be able to put on bands I love, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Opensight for the first time too.

Who's listened to the crushing new Ageless Oblivion album?! What a record! The idea was always to reschedule their gig that had to be cancelled, and with recently released new material from SHRINES, it's as exciting a prospect as ever! Hopefully stars will align and allow this to take place in 2022!

After seven years, today sees the release of our new album ‘Suspended Between Earth and Sky’.
This album has been ours alone for a longer time than we ever would have wanted, but finally it is yours as well.

The process to write and release this record has been remarkably challenging. Changes in our personal lives and circumstances (not to mention a global pandemic) combined with our principle of always trying to push ourselves as songwriters and musicians resulted in a longer process to get this finished. The band is now a very different entity to the one that started writing this record. Nonetheless, we are extremely proud of this album, and as far as we’re concerned, the agony of the last few years has been entirely worth seeing it released.

Our highest gratitude goes out to everyone involved in creating and releasing this album. Particular thanks go to Samuel Turbitt at Ritual Sound - Recording Studio and to Conor and Tomas at Apocalyptic Witchcraft

We would also like to thank everyone who has been patient with us over the preceding years and believed in us enough to help make this happen. There are many of you, and we can never thank you enough.

There’s a saying which stipulates that it doesn’t matter how long something takes, so long as you get there. That being said, we do feel the need to apologise for the wait.
For now though, we hope you enjoy the album and that it resonates with you in the same way it does us

We hope to see you soon

RESCHEDULED FURY/DAKESIS SHOW - NOW APRIL 2022.

Very pleased to be able to announce the new *new* date for the Fury & Dakesis co-headline gig in Southampton! This will now take place on Friday the 15th of April 2022.

As the new date falls on the Good Friday bank holiday next year, the gig will start and finish earlier than usual, to allow for the inevitable shorter running public transport timetables. More on this when things are confirmed nearer the time.

Of course if you have bought tickets and cannot make the new date, contact whichever band you bought them from for a refund.

Further updates and announcements to be posted here as and when they are available.

Stay safe, and stay Metal! 🤘

How is everyone doing? Good hopefully. By now you will likely have seen the news about when gigs are likely to be able to happen again, and will have worked out that sadly, of course, the Fury and Dakesis gig will have to be rescheduled again. A replacement date is in the works and hopefully will be good news that can be announced very soon!

In the mean time, stay safe and follow the rules so we can all get back to what we love as soon as possible! 🤘

COVID-19 UPDATE #2 - GIG POSTPONEMENT
Sadly, what was hopefully going to be avoidable became inevitable, so the Fury/Dakesis gig at the Firehouse a month today has been postponed until April 2021. The new date will be announced ASAP along with the other dates of the rescheduled tour, which are being worked on right now.

Tickets purchased will be valid for the rescheduled date, however should you require a refund then please contact the band you purchased them from.

Full statements are available from both bands' pages, and Dakesis are looking to stream a full live playthrough performance of their forthcoming album in lieu of their album launch gig on Saturday the 28th of March, as long as circumstances allow. Keep an eye on their pages for updates, and here for the rescheduled Southampton date.

UPDATE - COVID-19.
As you will have likely seen, many gigs and tours are being cancelled at the moment due to concerns over Covid-19, including in Southampton. The Fury and Dakesis co-headline show at the Firehouse is 5 weeks from today, and as it currently stands is still going ahead as planned.

It is unclear what the situation will be in the coming weeks but there are contingency plans in place for some of the more likely possibilities. Should anything need to change it will be announced as soon as any decisions are made. It is less likely to be cancelled than many that have been as all the bands are British and as such are in the country so will not be coming in from any high risk areas outside of the UK.

Naturally the health of all those involved with this gig taking place and those attending is important, and the situation is being closely monitored by the bands, venue, and myself - someone in the "at risk" category.

More updates will be posted when available. In the mean time continue to follow NHS and Government advice on hygeine, and check out the new singles from Fury (today; 3rd single from forthcoming album) and Dakesis (tomorrow; 2nd single from forthcoming album).
