After nearly 15 years in this industry, and hundreds of weddings under our belts, this wedding had so many firsts. I thought I’d seen it all, until I saw the groom, post ceremony, take off his jacket and head into the kitchen to cook his own wedding meal for his new wife and his beautiful daughters! For a second I couldn’t actually believe he was doing it, and we all offered to help and do it for him, or ring the local restaurant and get some french food delivered, but no. That was not his plan. There was something so special, so unique and so humble about this extraordinary act of kindness from Matt, that brought me to tears. No chef, or waiters were needed. No fancy restaurant. He simple wanted to cook his family their first meal together as husband and wife, and that was what he did. These photos are truly so special.

Ps. I also need to add, that Matt then continued to cook for the full supplier team - yes… the groom, cooked us our crew food on the night of his wedding! I mean, It is unheard of and we couldn’t have been more grateful for his time, his generosity and his hospitality. This special day was all about him and Michelle and his little girls, and yet somehow amongst it all, he still found time to acknowledge all the workers too, something which I will never forget. Thank you Matt, you are the ultimate gentleman! 🤍

For the wedding dinner for the Kader family, we moved a table into the centre of the ceremony space and covered it with French linen, more flowers of course and candle light so this gorgeous little family of four could have a beautiful, candle lit dinner - just the four of them. Our beautiful Sammi wanted a little moment in her rose garden before anyone else saw it. She came down in her stunning getting ready robe, and white negligee which was so beautiful it could have been her actual wedding dress, I’m sure! I love these quiet, private moments in between all the crazy of a wedding day, they are so special. 🤍🙏🏼

Taking time to reflect on all we have done, and how many beautiful wedding celebrations we have had the honour to be apart of. I’m a stuck record saying how much I have to share still, but it’s true and it’s almost so overwhelming I don’t really know where to start!

The lovely Elysia & Jon flew in from The States and married at the iconic Claridges at new year and I’m still yet to share any of it, and it was all so beautiful! Think something straight out of a movie, or a storybook. It was dream filled and fairytale like. There was of course cake, and twinkly candles, Luke Burr singing at the piano, and the biggest most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen, oh and oodles of white roses and fluffy gypsophila that I’ll never forget. Thank you both for having us! Xx 🤍🙏🏼

Our 2024 summer season has come to an end, and wow, it has been one of the most beautiful of my careers. 14 stunning weddings across Europe, mega birthday parties, event launches and all sorts of beauty sprinkled in between. You name it, we’ve flowered it and I’m so blessed and grateful to all of my clients for believing in me and my team, and to my team for being my forever rockstars! I’ll be taking a few days off to recover before we head into our autumn and winter season, not to mention the C word just around the corner! I haven’t even scratched the surface of sharing this summer with you yet and can’t wait to dive into my image galleries and show you what we have been up to! Michelle’s bridal bouquet was beautifully made by her best friend, Ellie who joined for the trip to assist with making it all happen! Im not sure what to say about this family, or this day. I have a thousand photos to post, but for now I’ll just share this one. The most beautiful, intimate elopement I’ve ever witnessed. The beautiful bride and her handsome groom, with only their children as guests, crossed the Atlantic from Miami to marry in a French chateaux, just the four of them. Their precious little girls took on the mighty role of celebrant and married their parents between them. Honestly, the beauty & intimacy of that moment is one I’ll never forget. Special doesn’t do it justice! Congratulations to you Michelle & Matt, Myla and Maddie and thank you for letting us be a small part of your gorgeous little family this week! You’ll be forever in our hearts! ✨🙏🏼

One of the things we have become known for over the last decade, is our flower arches. It kind of happened by accident, in that we made one one day early on that was seen by Ben Afleck and it went viral! Ever since, the flower arch has become one of our signatures, and it warms my heart when clients say they would like “an All for Love arch” as if it’s a known thing! It’s taken me a long time to accept that it is a thing…and again when people see photos of our work and say they know it’s ours before they even read a caption or credit- it also just means the world! As a designer and artist, having a recognisable style was and is the end goal always. To know people can instantly notice our work as ours, that they could pick it out in a line up or on a saturated instagram feed, is just the best feeling! It means somewhere along the way we successfully carved out a unique identity and aesthetic for ourselves through consistent, deliberate design decisions and I consider that a major WIN in this difficult industry. 🙏🏼

I shared a couple of slides on Instagram stories this week about our 10th year anniversary of All for Love. I’m actually 8 months late with the announcement so it’s almost 11 years now lol but I just couldn’t let the year go by without marking it in some small way. It feels like a milestone. I’ve never celebrated a business anniversary before. Always too scared that anything could happen and it could be the last. Like when Covid hit from nowhere- the most humbling, endurance test for us all!

I have so much to say about my business journey- it has been, without doubt the best and worst thing I’ve ever done. So many days I’ve thought I can’t do this anymore. So many days I’ve felt like I wasn’t enough and I couldn’t do it. And yet, here we are, somehow still doing it, and to the highest level too. My flowers have taken us to the most incredible places all over the world, to venues I could never have dreamed of seeing and we have had the pleasure to work within their walls. Leaving your job is hard. Starting a business is hard. Growing a business is hard. Consistently performing and keeping that highest level is hard. It’s all hard, there is no easy way, no luck involved… it’s all crazy hard work, perseverance and determination, over and over again! I have failed many times, but I guess I’ve picked myself up and tried again each time and somewhere along the way the beauty we created was seen and that gathered momentum… and now we are where we are.

The joy I get from each new brief that lands in my inbox, the tears I still cry when the music starts and the bride walks down the aisle. The pride I feel at working with haute couture brands. The at home feeling I feel in the flower market or with my incredible team in the studio, the radio blaring. Suppliers and florists have become my family. When we travel we spend so much time together- like a flower circus on the road and when we work together we know each other so well by now, anything is possible. I’m nothing without them and my trusted network of suppliers who I’m forever grateful for. I’m not sure I’d do it all over again, but I am sure I’ll keep going from here and can’t wait to see what happens next! 🙏🏼

It’s hard to imagine or visualise from the photos just how long this dining table was, but it just went on an on for about 40 metres through the centre of the Borgo at the Rosewood in Tuscany! There was this amazing moment where as we were dressing it I realised how long it took to walk from one end to the other with candles and styling bits and pieces and I just thought, wow this is like half a football pitch or half a running track! Mind blown, who even gets to dress a table that long?! So grateful and one I’ll never ever forget. 🧡🤯🤎

I’ve put off posting this event as I just don’t know where to start with it all. A career high, a once in a lifetime experience that is just too hard to describe in a few lines and 10 instagram squares! I also don’t want to accept it’s all over! The most special of surprise birthday parties!

The theme for this evening was an Italian Market Party, and together with the wonderful Susie at Everything Organised we spent years designing how this would all look. First up, (and I’m going a bit out of chronological order here) the dining table… it was nearly 40 metres long and stretched down the centre of the stunning Borgo Avenue at the Rosewood Castiligano in Tuscany. We had hundreds of terracotta vases thrown by hand on a potters wheel by an Italian artisan in all mixed shapes and sizes. We placed them on the most beautiful, locally sourced olive slabs Susie found as a giant runner, leaving space for the worlds longest grazing table of charcuterie & cheeses to be placed on the outer edges of the wooden boards. We filled the terracotta vases with wild grasses, delicate meadow flowers, fluffy camomile, terracotta and pale lemon roses to create an authentic, muted, earthy Italian market style table scape. I’m just touching the sides with this… I need to talk to you about the candles we used and the market stalls too! I’ll try and share more over the next few posts to show the sheer scale of this amazing project that was such a joy to be a part of. Thank you Susie for having us. It was all a dream. 🤎

I’ve admired Sabyasachi‘s insane talent in fashion and fine jewellery for so many years and every time one of our beautiful asian brides wears one of his gowns or jewels I’m blown away!
