Our Story
Being a Solo Mother on a benefit is not easy. I loved being a mother and wanted to find a way to get of the benefit but still be there for my kids in the school holidays, when they were sick and after school. So that is when I decided to buy a food trailer. With very little, I had to take a loan from a family member to make the first step into self employment. Mini Donuts was not the original plan but in the end it was the product that worked.
We have become so popular at major events that our line can get embarrassing sometimes. We work as hard and as fast as we can to get those Lil Orbits mini donuts to all our lovely customers. You will find us at the Rugby games at AMI Stadium, International Cricket at Hagley Oval, Xmas in the Park, Hororata Highland games, and many other events around Canterbury.
