Criminal Rolls… why are they called that? I believe it is because they put crack in them. They are HIGHLY addictive. Last night’s dinner was a Spinach Bacon Ricotta roll with a Habanero Raspberry jelly and I am still on a high from it. I haven’t even attempted to eat one of the Brown Butter Cookie Butter rolls yet because I would be a fiend and would eat them all. If you have never had them, I STRONGLY suggest you reach out and order you some. Sweet or savory, they are absolute heaven. The consistency. The flavors. All are just amazing. If you don’t reach out yourself, do what I did and marry someone that gets them regularly. Life is good.

So I grew up on hockey skates, not ice skates, but I’ve got a huge appreciation for anything that happens at the rink. That said, I am stoked, not just for fans of the ice, but for Wichita as a whole, as we’ve got the 2025 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships in our backyard. Want some tickets to check it all out and take it in? See the olypic competitors up close and personal before they go for gold in Italy in 2026. NYE was pretty amazing. An 80s prom theme for a private party had to be one of my faves. I broke out the skinny tie and all. The number of mullets was top shelf. I rarely get to do the 80s and it was a blast. And playing “Let’s Go Crazy” as the first song of 2025 was perfection!

So I picked the WRONG weekend for a vacation. The bridal fair has my inbox FLOODED with requests for dates and I am still going through them all to respond to everyone. That being said, I would not be running as smoothly as I am without HoneyBook. As a booking/invoicing/contracting/questionnaire software, it has been a game changer for me. Delicious lunch. And Live Local takes way nicer photos than I do! So excited for this battle of the bowls. And I agree, Bang Bang is the clear week one winner. That said, the Spicy Yum Yum is my all time favorite and it will be VERY difficult to order anything else with any consistency

So I’m starting to record and post mixes when I can. It can be super difficult with music ownership and all, but if you want something to listen to, imma be posting stuff on the regular on my channel. This was my opening 15 minutes at Public at the Brickyard for “The Jingle”. The Beatles, Pat Benetar, Fun, Nas, Janet Jackson, Snoh Aalegra, MIA, Sublime, Lenny Kravitz, Justin Timberlake, Notoroius BIg, Rudy Love & the Encore, and Aaliyah all in less than 15 minutes.

A few weeks ago, I was up at Station 8 BBQ to DJ for a private event. Marcel, one of the team members up there, asked if I could DJ for his birthday. Well, that was yesterday and I had an amazing time to provide some vibes. Despite the miserable weather, it was still a great time. And of course, it was delicious. Added bonus? I got a piece of the Fert The Foodie Italian sub that he brought up for the crew. It was also freaking delicious. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
