Well, it started out as a birthday bash for Art "Artooch" De Leon, singer for In-N-ouT, The Melodious Bastards and formerly from Liquid Sky. The bash was gonna take place at a local San Juan backyard when Miki McCarthy (EDC Coordinator at the time) approached Art and asked if it would be ok for the city of San Juan to participate. ened at Mooncusser's at SPI and last year was the biggest of all at The Omni Event's Center in Alamo with Costa Messa being the main sponsor. 2014 Artiepalooza plans to be the biggest, baddest bash as we know it to date!!!! Guns will be bringing their sleaze metal to South Texas along with the likes of Whiskey D, The Ratchet Dolls and of course, your very own Melodious Bastards. When you hear Artiepalooza, you'll know it has to do with your very own tongue-sticking, lead singing Artooch!!!!
