Staying in town for break? Looking for ideas for the weekend? We’ve got you! Here’s a list of some of our favorite activities Downtown Wilmington 👉🏼

🍦Get ice cream and walk the riverfront: One of our favorite cheap activities to do downtown - grab some gelato from Gelarto or ice cream from Kilwins and walk along the riverwalk! Or now that it's getting cooler, grab some hot chocolate and watch the sunset on the river.

⚓️ Explore the Battleship: The USS North Carolina Battleship is a great daytime activity! Tickets are $14 to access the battleship, and once you’re aboard you have the day to walk around and explore.

🛍 Shop at the Cotton Exchange: Walk through cobblestone walkways in open-air courtyards as you browse through 30 shops and restaurants. The Cotton Exchange building dates back to the 1880s, so it’s packed full with historic charm. It’s a great place to do all your Christmas shopping in one go!

🍴Get lunch: Downtown has some of the most highly rated restaurants in Wilmington, with options for all budgets. Grab ramen for lunch at Fun Bowl on Market street. Or for a more expensive meal, try the Copper Penny for burgers, the Little Dipper for fondue, or Yosake for sushi!

Grab your friends and come out to Crossfire Paintball this Friday for a night of excitement! 🌙 For just $10, you can battle it out with full gear, unlimited air refills, and 300 paintballs.

The two sessions will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and it will have 80 tickets total. 40 tickets for each session. Purchase tickets via the UNCWeekends online ticket store in advance. Crossfire Paintball is located at 1413 Castle Hayne Rd.
