The cold wintery winds didn’t stop E + J from their outside photo sesh SEVEN years ago to this day! We had a very classy and cozy, black and white themed celebration for these two…yet nothing could hold them back to share their love for tacos! We danced all night and had a blast. It was a great wedding to start off the year.

This was also fresh out of my rookie season of coordinating, when I learned that bridal party bouquets could double as table centerpieces and that black bridesmaid dresses are THE vibe because every girl needs a banging black dress 🖤

I love the business I’ve built; the couples & people met, the milestones made, the friendships made, the busy schedules, the sacrificed sunny days… the past 6 wedding seasons, I wouldn’t trade any of it and no ragrets.

But like all the clichés out there:
- consume in moderation
- allow time for breaks and rest
- put you first; aka do you boo-boo

Sooo since I’m getting married in 2025, I’ve decided to allow myself the grace to just focus on my wedding for the year, & enjoy the “other side” as a bride! But mostly on top of that, to take a well-deserved break.

To the couples and friends that have already sent in inquiries for 2025; again, my deepest apologies that I won’t be able to be there for you for your biiig day. But my suggestions guarantee you’ll be in the best hands and I can’t wait to see photos! & I’m also still welcoming questions and any advise needed, so feel free to contact me on my website or DM here. What. A. Year. A huge thanks and a shoutout to my amazing 2024 couples! My heart bursts as another couple commits to each other and the family grows. Again, it’s such an honor for y’all to trust me on one of the most special days of your lives and I couldn’t be anymore grateful.

& that’s a wrap on wedding szn 2023!!

I love this photo from J+Js wedding, because it almost exactly captures my view of the ceremony procession after the fluff of the bride’s dress. (Well obvi, I’d have a more discreet/angled-back-view vs back & center, esp since the bride is still towards the back of the seats and everyone is looking back…ok sharing details you don’t care about lol)

Anyways, the usual end-of-year post coming eventually. But feeling happy, honored, and accomplished and for now, taking a break 😬

Their sister, parents, grand pop, longtime neighbor; a couple is surrounded by the most top tiered people in their lives and it’s a very exciting and emotional day for them too, so it’s important to be aware that you are looking out for them as well ☺️

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!
Just a quick, shameless post about me and wanting to share some photos that some photographers took of me throughout the years (🥲thank you)!

When it’s dancing time, you can likely find me on the dance floor during the line dances or not find me as I’ve found a place to finally sit for a moment LOL. Regardless, I’m also enjoying your big day with you for a bit before I start cleaning up!

The thing about a DIY backyard wedding reception is that every. single. molecule. of detail is intentional. From the blade of each grass, to the bay leaf table decor, to the 3 groups of 20ish hand-picked guests that celebrated their unity in 3 events over two days (to accommodate the times of limited gatherings in 2021). AMELs celebration was unique, super intimate, & so perfect for them!

L+C were a 2020 couple that had to postpone their wedding. So instead, they had a court wedding with their immediate family, then held their big celebration in Summer 2021.

They were excitedly expecting by the time their celebration came around, so they thought that it would be funny to play a trick on their guests during the garter toss 🤭

Instead of pulling out his bride’s garter, he pulled out a baby (doll) instead! The reactions were priceless!
