If you're like me, you've probably been to plenty of weddings where the music has been... let's say 'dated'. Well it's about time you got something much better, way cooler and more modern for your money. The Secret of a good DJ is all in the selection = Playing the RIGHT music at the RIGHT time. I come from a club DJing & musical production background but don't worry, I won't turn your wedding int

o a rave (unless you want me to!)… It just means that I have a solid understanding of how to work a dancefloor. I've played festival stages, underground nightclubs, weddings, raves in caves… basically I go where the music takes me. I've won DJ competitions run by Ministry Of Sound, KISS FM, Corona, Gemini & DJ Magazine. I also worked for 5 years on Cornwall's Atlantic FM, presenting everything from the breakfast show to specialist evening programmes. With my experience, I can make what is often one of the last things to be thought about on your day, hassle free and memorable for all the right reasons. I know what works on a dancefloor and why it works, from my thousands of hours spent in DJ booths all over the country. We'll work together to build you your perfect, personal soundtrack. From 2006 - 2011 I freelanced as a presenter on Cornwall's Atlantic FM radio station. I worked across pretty much every show over that period including breakfast and 'The Breeze' but was lucky enough to have my very own weekly funk and soul show called the Ocean Soul Sessions. I presented this live for a couple of hours every weekend and was given pretty much free reign on the programming (almost unheard of in commercial FM radio in the UK!)

A colleague of mine recently found my old programme discs from back in December 2007 - I thought it would be cool to remenise so I made a Spotify playlist with as many of the songs I could find. Mainly for my own nostalgia but if you're interested in listening it's on my Spotify profile

Its always tricky to pin down stand out music each year... Well for me, it's definately been easier this year thanks to the release of Volcano from the mighty Keeping the vibes burning hot in 2023! 🎶

It's rare now, in the days of the shuffle button and AI playlists to find an album that you want to sit and listen to from start to finish, but this one magnificently hits the spot! 🔀

Honourable mention to for his debut release this year too. Can't wait to hear what 2024 has to offer! 🎧

I know I know! I'm rubbish at social media... but 2023 has been another great year for celebrations!! 🥂🎉

THANK YOU to all the couples that have trusted me to helm their big day this year, and to all the amazing Cornish wedding suppliers I've met along the way, it's been a cracking year!

From beaches to barns, I've had a bunch of banging sessions over the last 12 months and can't wait to get back to it in 2024.

That's a wrap for me this year (well almost!) and I'll try and remember to share more of my adventures over the coming months.
