A day for reflecting on all that I’m thankful for which also includes pumpkin pie?! (with the proper 2:1 whipped cream to pie ratio). Thankful just doesn’t always seem to cover it.

Nearly 11 years ago when I started Amber Terese Events I could have never dreamed for it to be what it has become. I am so grateful to all of the couples that trust me with their wedding days and thus allow me to give my three children a simply incredible life. Without the grace and support of my clients I could have never said yes when we got a call out of the blue that three babies needed a home. I still don’t know how I could have ever balanced that and all that ensued after with still working a corporate job. Thankful for my incredible team and the way they support my clients and the goals I have for ATE and share my excitement over every little thing. Thankful for the vendor partners who make wedding day dreams come true alongside me and the venues that allow us all beautiful spaces to celebrate in. We all work hard and care deeply for our clients but we also have fun too and the best moments behind the scenes come from the amazing community of vendors I am lucky to share space with. I’m thankful for planner friends and other vendor friends that check in and cheer each other on behind the scenes even when we don’t see each other as often as we’d like. This industry is full of some of the most incredible artists and most beautiful souls and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

Nothing says timeless like holding your wedding ceremony on the steps of a 120 year old mansion.

This venue is easily one of my favorites in Minneapolis, not just for the stunning mansion but also for the beautiful courtyard, and delicious food. We love to watch guests wandering the grounds in awe of this venue, it really creates a memorable day for everyone.

IT'S TIME TO POP THE CHAMPAGNE 🍾 I am elated to reveal what I've been dreaming of since founding Amber Terese Events more than a decade ago and have been working on behind the scenes for quite a while.

As I celebrated 10 years in business I wanted to look forward to what I never dared to dream Amber Terese Events could be and when thinking about what I want in the next 10 years, it was clear it was time for an update to reflect the experience, reputation, and value that my company has been providing to clients for more than a decade and let that shine in the visual identity of Amber Terese Events.

It was important to me that my own heart and personality were present in a high end brand because so many clients have trusted me and have been excited and grateful for what my unique personality and skills bring to their wedding day, and to achieve this I turned to my literal dream team- Kelly and Andra of With Grace and Gold

I have never felt more heard and more confident that my personality was being seen and my goals were being considered as I was throughout the process of creating new branding and a new website working with Kelly and Andra. Their process, understanding, and technical knowledge are truly second to none.

I am so grateful for all of my clients past, present, and future, and to everyone who has stood alongside me the last ten years and now please celebrate with me as I look forward to what's next for Amber Terese Events.

Classic and Timeless are often seen as interchangeable but they are not actually the same. Classic means "serving as a standard of excellence, traditional, enduring". While timeless means "not affected by the passage of time or changes in fashion".

Well babes...it was quite the summer around here! So many stunning moments and wonderful humans. So many dinner diet cokes, good bye hugs, and drive home bundtinis.

I feel like it should still be July yet here we are nearly halfway through October already celebrating with fall clients while sobbing over summer photo galleries arriving from photogs. I simply can't believe season ten is almost over.

this couple had two things they wanted from their wedding- a beautiful spring whimsical garden, and excellent food and drink for their guests.

It's the busiest time of year here for ATE, until October it's truly the most wonderful time of the year.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our nanny has had the week off as her fall sports season has begun which has made work a little hectic this week. She'll be back next week so communication will pick up significantly. School for my kiddos is starting soon & I have a big milestone this year with my youngest heading off to kindergarten so I am also looking ahead to what that means for my work life and planning out a whole new schedule while working hard on a dream ATE project behind the scenes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With it being the craziest time of year I find it odd that it is also the time of year where I find myself deep in reflection. Maybe its the lack of sleep? We had the most beautiful sunset of the year for golden hour with my couple on Saturday. That truly golden late summer sun, the leaves ever so slightly beginning to change, and a few beginning to fall. It has seemed to summon the feeling to begin preparing for the turning of the season, the closing of the 10th year of Amber Terese weddings (although we're running right up to 2025 this year with a fabulous New Years Eve wedding), and the preparation for the next year's weddings. It's also a time I tend to be in my feels as we come upon the 5 year anniversary of very suddenly and very unexpectedly welcoming 3 small children into our home when they needed one, beginning one of the most difficult and rewarding journeys of my life. Which deepens my gratitude for the couples that choose to work with Amber Terese Events more immensely with each year that passes.

While the schedule is hectic right now, the overwhelm is real, the exhaustion hangs on for days, and at times it all feels like too much...
I am able to give my children a beautiful joy filled life because you trust me with one of the biggest days of yours.
