Traditionally, black was not considered a color for weddings. However, modern trends have challenged this notion, and black has become more accepted for weddings, especially for evening ceremonies. Ultimately, it depends on personal preference and the style of the wedding. Here at ICED we love working with black on wedding cakes 🤭

Look 3 designed with our take of the colour of the year . We moved away from the traditional one peach and designed this cake with Hughes from the peach colour palette. Multiple tiers covered in soft coloured paste, giving it a delicate and elegant appearance. The tiers adorned with intricate lace and detailing, and florals in shades to complement the peach hue. The blush ribbon bow adds charm, and sophistication, making it a perfect centerpiece for a romantic wedding celebration.

Look 1 is named after the country where I learnt how to work with edible paper. An intensive training programme in 2018 introduced me to edible cake art that was beyond my imagination. I fell in love with it and started experimenting with different paper, and different techniques. Since then I started including edible art to most of our cake designs. It is important to note not all my experiments worked, sometimes I ended up with sticky paper and sometimes it was too stiff to work with, but when it did work I had that little burst of excitement.
When I designed this cake I wanted to stop shying away from what I thought a client would want, instead design something my heart was set on, and that’s what I did and I LOVE IT 🥰
I won’t say this cake style is for all my clients but for those that do like a little bit of unique, and a little bit of quirky- this one is PERFECT ..

Designed for our beautiful bride in red. For the design of this cake we moved away from the traditional cakes with red flowers and gold detailing and opted to go for a cake with diluted boho chic vibes. The clear pedestal added that extra bit of hight to the cake.
