—FEB CARNI.VALENTINES: CHANGE OF DATE & VENUE—
Dear Community,
After a lot of internal debate and discussion, we are going to change the date of our next epic event, CarniValentines, from daytime (4pm-midnight) on Sunday 16th February at Heaven - to the evening of Friday 14th February at Studio 338 (10pm-6am).

There are many reasons for this, foremost of which is Heaven’s unfortunate ongoing license suspension for the deeply regrettable events that took place there on 1st November.
(Westminster Council’s statement on this & notes from the last committee hearing are at https://www.westminster.gov.uk/news/statement-heaven)

We have been in frequent contact with Heaven to understand as much as we can about what happened, and what will change to ensure nothing like this can ever happen again.
Our thoughts are foremost with the victim and all those that have been harmed by this incident.
We also wish Heaven the best in navigating this deeply challenging period, and arriving at a positive outcome for all; they have played a crucial positive role for so many communities in London, and have always been a great partner and venue for us, with a great team who are all horrified and mortified by what happened.

We need to move ahead and plan, book teams and equipment, and feel secure with a date - and we need our community to also feel as secure and protected as possible.
These are some of the many reasons why, after a lot of difficulty and soul-searching, we have decided to change the date and venue.

One huge benefit is that we will now be celebrating on Valentines Day itself - a rare opportunity, and a great chance for our community to more poignantly and deeply explore this day dedicated to love. And it also means that our event will once again explore the magic of the night rather than the day, and leave plenty of time to expand & decompress over the event weekend :).

We deeply apologise to all those that this no longer works for, or anyone that planned around the Sunday event.
Our ticketing links remain the same but have been updated* & we will be emailing all ticket-holders; please pass this message on to your buyer if you have already had to resell.

REFUNDS
Under normal circumstances we never offer refunds, though we always offer a resale platform, and WAX will soon be integrating the Tixels resale platform we have typically used.
But these are deeply extenuating circumstances, so for the next week alone, until midnight on Wednesday 11th December, we will offer a full refund to anyone purchasing for the Sunday & writing in to [email protected] requesting a refund.

We very much hope the majority of you can stick with us - and that many more of you will feel able to join us on this new actual-Valentines date.
We can’t wait to share this joyous manifestation of festival, carnival & love with you all!

Happy thanksgiving! We have such immense gratitude for this community- for the volunteers and performers who bring their incredible skills and artistry and most of all to our guests who make these nights the magical co-creations they are. Thank you for always bringing such open hearts and minds and effort into these events. We like to take risks; leaning into the spiritual and the theatrical as well as the sexy and hedonistic. And it’s always so touching to see how well received this combination is.

The finale act at Mad Ma### with and literally brought tears to our eyes to see the deep rapture of the audience captured by their aerial duo of love and connection. It was magnificent. You are all magnificent! ❤️

We are so looking forward to our last event of the year, in just over 2 days (730pm this Friday), in the guise of the sublime LOTUS HEART SACRED DANCE; a dreamy space of transformation, where we can float into entirely new ways of moving, feeling, being.
