MEET OUR TEAM - ERIC - DJ 3NIGMA

Hey there! I’m Eric, but you might know me better as DJ 3nigma (enigma), the driving force behind Evolving Events NYC. My DJ journey began back in 2007, and it’s been one hell of a ride ever since. Along the way, I found my true calling in private events and weddings—let’s just say, they’re my jam.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of over 1000 events (I’ve lost count!), and my love for music has led me to every corner of the industry. My secret weapon? Versatility. I thrive on staying adaptable and constantly EVOLVING (it’s what my company ultimately means), diving into various genres and techniques to ensure I hit the right note for every occasion. That way, you and your guests always get a personalized and electrifying experience.

The part of my story I cherish most is reflecting on how far I’ve come. I started with humble beginnings—subpar (often borrowed) equipment and skills I taught myself. Despite the odds, I kept pushing to evolve and refine my craft. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve mastered the art of event ex*****on with meticulous precision.

But my journey doesn’t stop here. I’m on a relentless mission to elevate Evolving Events NYC to new heights. My vision? Transforming EENYC into a dynamic multi-op, expanding our team with like-minded professionals who share my passion for creating unforgettable moments.

Exciting News from Evolving Events NYC! 🎉

1️⃣ Starting February 1st, we're saying goodbye to $500 deposits and introducing a new booking system. Instead of a deposit, you'll only need to pay a non-refundable retainer fee of 1/3 of the total booking amount. This change gives us more flexibility with your booking and makes the planning process smoother. If you haven’t decided on a DJ yet and want to secure us at the $500 down rate, do so before 2/1.

2️⃣ I’ve decided to give the Photo Booth division the credit that it deserves! I’m excited to announce that it's becoming its own standalone division. With this exciting change comes even more access to our amazing booths that you all love so much. We're also introducing our brand-new drop-off service, where businesses can rent our Selfie Station Photo Booth for any duration they need. This is super helpful for Grand Openings, Huge Sales Weeks, Special Events at your brick & mortars(s), etc. The possibilities are endless. Hit me up for more details!

3️⃣ We’re undergoing a huge expansion! I’m proud to announce that we've added a photo/video team, a talented florist, live musicians, and even a wedding officiant to our Evolving Events family. When you choose us, you're not just getting a DJ or event production company, you're getting a whole team dedicated to making your special day unforgettable. Best part? You write one “check”. Set it and forget it mentality is the goal for us and our family of clients. We want to capture your event on camera, while we DJ, set you up with super dope floral arrangements and provide live music that will get your guests on their feet or supplement our wedding officiant at your wedding ceremony - we've got it all under one roof!
