Some photos from my sister's wedding back in August, showing her gorgeous wedding bouquet. The bride wanted a macrame decoration so I learned the craft especially and I think it really completed the whole look. Thistles were added for the Scottish groom, along with peacock feathers and locally sourced Dahlias for the Kentish bride. The bride also wanted lots of grasses so I spent hours foraging locally for wild materials. I like to go the extra mile and it was all worth it, because when it was finished I was able to step back and say "yep, that's her! It's perfect". (and she agreed).

New Year’s Resolution

This year I am aiming to replace all the floral-foam designs on my website fleur-d-amie.com with #nofloralfoam alternatives, like this beautiful silver bowl arrangement. Better for the environment and you get to be creative with bowls, vases, urns and more... I can’t wait!
