As an event host, I often find myself in the fun chaos of brainstorming with clients. 🙈 While it’s super exciting to hear all their creative ideas, it can feel like trying to catch a balloon in a typhoon! Here’s how I handle it with a smile: (1) Embrace the Kakulitan 💪When clients are bursting with ideas, I remind myself that their excitement is a good sign. Instead of panicking, I dive right in! I take a deep breath, open my laptop, and get ready to capture every brilliant idea they throw my way. After all, their passion is what makes the event special! 😌 (2) Ask the Right QuestionsTo help my clients organize their thoughts, I guide them into questions like, “Ano ang vision mo for your event?” or “Anong overall vibe ang gusto mo?” This way, they can focus on what really matters without feeling overwhelmed. It’s amazing how a little direction can turn a storm of ideas into a smooth sail! 💪 (3) Set Realistic Limits 🙌 Finally, I gently remind them about the realities of budget and timelines. I keep it light and say things like, “Gusto ko ring mag-rain ng confetti, pero baka kailangan natin mag-scale back sa isang splash lang!” This way, we keep things fun while steering them back to what’s doable. 😉By taking this approach, I make sure that planning becomes an enjoyable experience for both me and my clients. Being an event host has always been one of my happy side hustles even before I became a teacher in 2010. The goal was simple: make each event fun and memorable.

Over three years ago, I became a Financial Advisor, and hosting an event became more meaningful. I had the opportunity to share with every clientele --- couples, corporate teams, and birthday celebrants alike --- the message of #LiveTheLifeYouChoose.
