DJs Twitch and DJIT (pronounced digit) started out as DJs in the Atlanta New Wave/Goth/Industrial scene over 20 years ago, before moving on to underground electronica playing genres ranging from Deep and Tech House to Downtempo and Acid Jazz.
Both hailing from South Florida, where they originally met in the early 90s, it wouldn’t be until after they reconnected in Atlanta in 96’ that their DJ career kicked into high gear. They presided over a hugely successful weekly Saturday night party called “Destination Unknown” at Outta Control (formerly the legendary 688 nightclub). It was a showcase of classic New Wave, Post Punk, and Goth rock– regularly drawing crowds in the hundreds. From there they went on to host many other parties and events at late 90s/early 2000s staples such as the aforementioned Outta Control, as well as Masquerade, MJQ, Crescent Room, The Chamber, Karma, 1150, Kaya, The Vault, and many others.
Twijit are able to cater to nearly any crowd. Their 80s sets run the gamut from poppier hits to deeper crate-digging classics. They also are adept at genres from Indie Dance to Electro. Classic R&B/Funk to Underground House. And of course, New Wave, Goth, and Industrial.
Twijit can be booked for many different kinds of events, from club nights to private parties, as well as corporate events and weddings.
