Meet Sous Chef Asia Rucker, a culinary prodigy from Greenwood, SC, aged 22. Since 2021, Asia has been an integral part of Chef Kenny’s team, leveraging her culinary prowess and dedication. Having graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Fall 2021, Asia received her BSBA in Marketing from UNC Charlotte, in May 2024, with plans for an MBA in Fall 2024. Asia is also a Spring 24’ initiate of the Iota Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. With a rich background in private dining, event coordination, and meal preparation, Asia’s ambitions extend beyond the kitchen. She aspires to become a marketing director for a food and beverage company, with dreams of operating her own food truck. Inspired by her grandmother’s teachings and a childhood immersed in cooking shows, Asia’s passion for culinary arts knows no bounds. Her talent has even earned her a spot at the esteemed 2021 Augusta Nationals PGA Golf Tournament, showcasing her creativity and expertise with every dish she crafts.
