We began Sophia's session in the heart of downtown Kansas City. She was looking for a blend of urban energy and open fields. Our first stop was near the Kansas City Library, followed by a visit to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. After wrapping up our time in KC, we made our way to Lee’s Summit and arrived at James A. Reed. This location is perfect for capturing a nature-inspired, outdoorsy atmosphere. We concluded our session just in time for the stunning golden hour.

What is a senior rep program?
A senior rep program is like assembling a squad of fabulous senior girls from high schools all around the KC area to rock the spotlight for Shelby Biggs Photo during their senior year! You'll be the ultimate hype crew, rallying your friends to book those senior sessions while snagging some sweet perks and discounts for yourself. It’s basically your chance to strut your influencer stuff!
If chosen you’ll score an SBP merch box, get invited to exclusive senior rep photo shoots, and even have the chance to attend a special senior rep retreat! All we ask in return is that you spread the love for Shelby Biggs Photo by sharing your awesome experiences on social media or just chatting it up with your pals!
Girls who are EXCITED to join SBP REPS should be outgoing and active on social media. These girls are passionate about promoting the brand and eager to share their enthusiasm with their friends.

✨You get priority booking on my calendar! As soon as you have been accepted and everything is all set, you can go ahead and sign up for a date! Giving you first dibs on any season!
✨ We travel!! For the last few years I have taken the team to the Missouri State Fair, but last year I upleveled the traveling and we went to Daytona Beach Florida! Where we had 3 unforgettable shoots and so much girl time fun!
✨ You will get 4-6 themed shoots through out your rep term! This is including our meet and greet party/ first shoot, the state fair, our trip and sooooo many more!! Starting for Class of 2026 I would really like to plan more activities like… ice cream dates, bowling, etc. But we usually try to go get food after our shoots!
✨You can earn money, prizes, discounts, gift cards! Class of 2026 is not ready for the plans I have in store!

Let’s dive into the Facts and Questions regarding the SBP Senior Rep Program!
✨ You’ll be considered as a rep starting in early 2025 if selected, and this role will continue until your graduation the following spring.
🪩 As a representative, you’ll enjoy various group photo shoots, a personalized session, a cap and gown mini shoot, opportunities for professional hair and makeup, a wealth of digital images, and much more.
💅🏼 While parents don’t need to attend the shoots, their involvement is essential! I always inform them first if you’ve made the team!
☀️ The senior rep retreat is designed for the class of 2025, offering a chance to travel to an exciting location for your senior photos.
💖 The responsibilities of being a representative are quite straightforward. There’s a one-time fee plus the cost of your chosen senior package! You’ll need to promote SBP at least twice a month, be available for our SBP meet and greet on June 14th, follow both SBP accounts, adhere to outfit guidelines, and include .seniors in your bio.

I am so ready for the changes and bigger and better things that is coming in 2023! When I tell you I have never been so busy and so blessed I mean it. I have so much work that I can’t wait to share after the holidays. I have bigger things coming for my Senior Rep program. We are ending the year having a studio for these colder months. A mother daughter moment!
One of my favorite parts of Beth and Eriks wedding day was about half way done with the dollar dance and I noticed one of Beth's sisters, Wendy was dancing with Beth and her other sister Vicky was in line waiting her turn. I told her to go join in on the fun. As I was snapping away. Here comes mama to join in with her girls. It was such a sweet moment and I got to capture it. And that is why I do what I do and love what I do.

Meet Shelby!
Hellurrrr! I’m Shelby! I'm a total goof, and sometimes I ramble. I ask a lot of questions because I believe knowledge is power. In 2016 I married my true love and it was seriously the best decision I have ever made. In 2017 I became a dog mom, she's the biggest brat I know but she's my brat. In 2018 I found out the best news, that we are expecting a little girl in 2019. 2019 I'll be taking on more weddings, and learning how to be a mom and I am so excited for the future and what it holds.
My dream growing up was to be a photographer, I knew since I was little that; that is what I wanted to do. I love shooting families, children, seniors but my true passion is couples. I love the beginning stage of engagement photos and then working with you over the course of time to get you the best wedding timeline. I wanna be the person that knows everything about your big day so you don't have to worry or stress. I want to make your day the smoothest and the best day ever. I don't wanna capture just a couple in front of the camera but the love the couple shares. I want to make it fun and romantic, where it feels like I am not even there.
A few fun facts about me:
1. I love, love. Like seriously if im watching a romcom I more than
likely have a stupid grin on my face the whole time.
2. I run on Dr. Pepper.
3. My niece and nephews are my favorite little humans.
4. My mom is my best friend.
5. Weddings are seriously my favorite. From the details, down to the send
off. Again I'll probably have a stupid grin on my face the entire day.
