I have been doing a lot of introspection during this time during the big, long, pause. All I can think is that this happened for a reason.
In the spring, in April and May, it was so refreshing to breathe clean air.
I enjoyed watching people pick up hobbies and do things that they enjoy and really appreciate the people in their lives. I wonder if we do want to go back to a new normal?
Now that people have gotten a taste of not being busy, and the time and space to really see what is happening in this world, If we would ever want to go back to where we were?
Trust the process. #trusttheprocess #trusttheuniverse #trusttheplan🌍

Flowers have been an important part of life events since before humans.
Chimpanzees place flowers in their departed loved ones and they have been found in Neanderthal grave sites.
When I see flowers I get a little flutter in my chest of happy excitement, and I am guessing that other people get that flutter too.
Here is a little video from last Friday, a week and a hundred years ago.
We will get through this and life’s celebrations will be more important than ever before.
Yesterday we participated in an open house @arrowparkny . A beautiful venue that sometimes flies under people’s radar.
It was bitter sweet.
A gathering of wedding vendors and couples planning their nuptials.
Worry about Covid 19, lots of hand sanitizer and fresh air.
Thinking about what the new normal will be.
The Hudson Valley is a great place for a wedding and has plenty of open space to #socialdistance in.
2021 will be a whole new year and a new normal. A bright future is ahead.
Having lived through some sh*t shows in my life, oil crises, the Cold War, AIDS and the entire 80’s, living near ground zero on 9-11, SARS, Swine flu, 3-4 recessions ), being prices out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I lost count) you name it....
From my personal experience after the sh*t show is over, things return to a new normal, glorious days always follow.
Hang in there and #letsplanawedding

Hygiene is more important than ever and with skin being the biggest organ on your body, what you put on it is vital.
99.997% of the ingredients in our soap are things that I would not only put in my body, but in it as well. Got my helpers busy making soap in my kitchen.
It was very healing to have a group of smart, talented women come together to let me teach them how to make it.
I love teaching people new skills and demystifying the mysterious.
Soap.
I really identify with Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, I have always felt like an outsider with a great eye for design and fashion. And, like with Hedwig, have often had people steal my creative ideas and run with it.
My inch is the 12 credits that I needed to complete a degree in Chemistry, all of which were what I considered to be fluff classes like economics and psychology.
The other 120 credits that I completed were all in science, photography and foreign language classes. That knowledge sure does come in handy when doing things like teaching people how to make soap.
I love the community and the comradely that happens when people are brought together.
Thanks ladies for the fun afternoon.
Fun site visit this week@thearnoldhouse great time in one of my favorite towns in the Catskills. This little gem of a venue has lots to offer, rooms, great view, lots of outdoor and indoor things to do, nearby Air B&B’s and did I mention that the honeymoon suite has a spa? It’s a great place to spend a snowy weekend, bring your cross country skies. #catskills #weekendgetaway #escapebrookkyn #escapebrooklynweddings #catskillswedding
