Let me tell you about one of my favourite venues! Not only is Spencer's at the Waterfront a stunning location for weddings and special events, but it also functions as a restaurant 7 days a week. In addition to lunch and dinner daily, they serve an incredible brunch on weekends. Plus, you cannot go wrong with a glass-walled dining room, that overlooks Lake Ontario and a tranquil reflection pond. If you're looking for a venue for your next special event, look no further!

Up for grabs are two awesome prizes: has designed a beautifully handmade macramé feather wall hanging ($100 value), and Burlington Floral Art & Design] is offering a stunning hand-tied bouquet, featuring local Ontario blooms ($100 value).

Since we have two prizes, we want to have two winners! The more the merrier, right? It's easy to enter:

EARTH DAY.

One day isn't enough to draw attention to the environment. We should promote conservation and sustainability daily. There are many topics of discussion, but I'll go with what I know, and like best - flowers!

Did you know that flowers protect our environment in at least 9 different ways?

1. Create fresh air.
2. Provide natural pollination.
3. Minimize erosion.
4. Create a powerful support system.
5. Conserve water.
6. Share native power.
7. Foster a friendly habitat.
8. Maintain hearty soil.
9. Add beauty.

Remember to do your part in making our Earth a better place. Plant some flowers and ditch the pesticides. If we all make a little effort, it could mean bigger results!
