Since launching in 2016, Junction 2 has grown into a globally recognised event with an underground cult following. Deeply rooted in club culture and ultra-consistent across operations, production, music policy and vibe, the festival puts the audience journey at the heart of the experience. Made up of a variety of bespoke and creative spaces, the London festival has steadily scaled from one day to

two, from 10,000 to 25,000 like-minded guests, elevating the scope of UK electronic music festivals to rival those of our European counterparts. No short sets or plastic tents, Junction 2 merges natural beauty, green fields, rambling rivers, woodland pathways and hidden enclaves with impeccable sound, high end production and a meticulous attention to detail. The ethos behind the scenes is as progressive as the booking policy, with a focus on improving sustainability, gender parity, welfare provisions and with active anti-discrimination policies in place. Despite the postponement of the 2020 edition, recent months has seen Junction 2 bring the spirit of Boston Manor Park into the digital space as the UK’s first large scale underground virtual festival. Uniting party goers from around the world at a time when we couldn’t freely experience dancefloors, the event was broadcast in over 150 countries. Featuring 20 artists and filmed across 3 iconic musical cities (Detroit, Berlin and London), the global electronic music community was brought together again inside Junction 2’s custom built space, J2v. A truly unique, one-off experience, the digital festival was watched by over 3.1million viewers. Junction 2’s vision is focused on elevating original and pioneering artists whilst providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming space for future generations to blossom.

ICYMI: Yesterday we announced that Joel Zimmerman, aka deadmau5, will make his Junction 2 debut with not one, but two UK-exclusive performances.

On Friday 25th July, he’ll take to the stage as deadmau5, and on Saturday 26th July, he returns as Testpilot, exploring the deeper, darker side of techno.

And as promised—one more major Friday headliner is still to come. Announced this May. Trust us, it’ll be worth the wait. 🖤

Before we head to Boston Manor Park, we’re making a few stops right here in our beloved hometown, London. 🖤

Ahead of their live performance on the Sunday of J2, we’re thrilled to welcome Mount Kimbie for a DJ set at Colour Factory, Hackney Wick. The British duo has spent the past two decades at the forefront of electronic music, evolving from post-dubstep pioneers to collaborators with James Blake, King Krule, and Danny Brown.

Joining them is the enigmatic DJ Python, whose reggaeton-infused, genre-blurring sets never fail to inspire. And to complete the lineup, we have a very special guest—to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Junction 2 merges natural beauty, green fields, rambling rivers, woodland pathways and hidden enclaves – all dominated by striking industrial features that will make the site iconic. The message is simple – great sound, high-end production, an attention to detail, no short sets, no plastic tents, like-minded people and a music policy focused on techno. Created by LWE, 2019 marked the festival’s fourth year.
