We have one last late donation to publicise , Hale Line Dancers have been awarded £150 to help with their outing to Southport .

Community Announcement From Hale Village Carnival.

At Tuesday evenings Carnival meeting we chose some local organisations that could use a little helping hand to carry on in their various groups , donations as follows ;

Our first donation of £200 go to Hale Brownies , we chose this as a Thank You to Ian Trimble for all he did for Hale Carnival .

Our second donation of £200 goes to The Shetland Rescue , thanks to Sara and her team for their dedication .

Our third donation of £200 goes to Hale Park Estate Volunteers , thanks to Val and the whole team who are so dedicated to their cause helping make Hale Village such a lovely colourful place .

The fourth group to benefit is Hale Art Group with a £200 helping hand .

Last but not least , we have donated £100 to Runcorn & District Model Boat Club , I have a feeling this fabulous group will be a part of our carnival for years to come .

Good morning folks,

Here are some photographs of the Copper Beech planted to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.
Chosen in April 2022 we delayed planting until early Winter to give the sapling the best chance, the plaque commissioned by the carnival was added this year.

Many thanks to Paul Boardman Park Manager for his help, advice and gaining funding .
A huge thank you to Gary and Graham Hallett / Lavis Engineering for making our beautiful plaque.
Thank you to HBC Parks team who not only planted the tree but also secured the plaque in front of it !

Thanks to Mike Wharton for his help and providing contacts.
Hopefully our tree will flourish through generations to come .

Hale Village Carnival - Front Garden Competition 2023.

Ann and Will visited the nominated gardens last week for this years Front Garden Competition.

After careful thought and consideration and taking into account various factors with each entry, they decided on the below winners!

The winning entries received their prizes this afternoon, presented by Cerri, Ann and Will!

1st Gary Wright For his emmaculately kept front garden at Wellington Gate!

2nd Mal Sutton With his display of enormous hanging baskets from the front glass canopy at Hale Hall Gardens

3rd Hale Park Estate Volunteers For their hard work in the community and time for maintaining the front of Wellington Gate Garden area..

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS......

If anyone has lost a watch or a small blanket please let me know with details of the items , the watch was found at Jonezies Pins & Needles stall and the blanket was found near Sips Bar .

There were also two bank cards lost , if anyone picked either of them up please get in touch .

Our Grand Raffle was drawn at the Carnival yesterday and these are the lucky winners ,,,,

1st Prize worth over £650 went to Vicky Morris , ticket number 1140.

2nd Prize was won by Ron Hilton , ticket number 1091 .

3rd Prize goes to Tyler McDonald , ticket number 1289.

4th Prize goes to Liz Collins , ticket number 1045.

5th Prize goes to Emma Beardwood , ticket number 1350.

6th Prize was won by Bobbie Sutton , ticket number 1065.

7th Prize goes to Vicky Morris , ticket number 1143.

I’ve had a call from a lady who has lost a Business Debit Card , whilst this can’t be used - she would like it back so there’s limited problems reinstating the company’s Direct Debits etc .

What a great afternoon here at Hale Carnival on a fab and sunny day.
What a scorcher, we got to 84f on our first Carnival for 3 and a half years, since the Lockdown.

We hope you all enjoyed yourselves, it was wonderful to see so many visitors today..

Thank you to the Volunteers at St Mary's Church for the Coffee and Tea Shop today.. Well done Ladies.!

All our volunteers have worked so hard to bring this event to fruition.. Well done everyone and thank you to everyone who came to the park to enjoy the day!!

Well done to everyone who took part in this years Hale Village Carnival Scarecrow Competition.

There were a few hidden ones we nearly missed, but we think we managed to get them all??.

That's the Scarecrow judging done for this year folks.

Marie and Will spent a good solid 3 hours walking around the entire village this evening marking up and scoring this years entries.

We had a total of 32 Scarecrows for 2023.

So a BIG THANK YOU, to those who took part to make their scarecrows and put them on display in their front gardens and driveways.

The Results and Prizes will be announced on Carnival Day

Only four more sleeps to the big day folks ! We have over 25 stalls selling their lovely wares , we have Jamaican Food , Doggy accessories , Jewellery , Crystals , Bath Bombs and Soaps , Baby teething rings and gifts , Home accessories , Hand made bird houses , Beautiful fabrics , Face painting , Hair accessories , Handbags, Cushions , Macrame , Candles and wax melts , Cosmetics & baby knits , our favourite Just The Cheese , plants and more , we have promotion stands with lots of info on Nutrition , local dog grooming , La Hives and more .

Please support Hale C E School on their fund raising stall - something for everyone !

Good afternoon folks , our Poster Competition Winners are as follows ,

Our judges will be going around the village on the week commencing the 5th June.

Now is the time to start making and putting them on show in your front garden or driveway.

Confirmed for Hale Village Carnival 2023!!

We are very excited to announce that Hale C.E. School Choir will be singing at the Carnival again this year , always a firm favourite .
We also have confirmation that Saints Peter and Paul Samba Band be gracing us with their wonderful vibrant music , many thanks to both schools , Hale Village Carnival keeping children involved and tradition alive .

Once you’ve applied for a pitch you will receive a form to fill in for contact details and also what goodies you intend to sell , this avoids us having too many of the same type of products .

Fees will remain the same at £15 per pitch , the carnival committee are looking forward to welcoming you all back .
