every winter people ask if we’re busy with work and I tell them this is our slow season where we get to focus on rest, back end business stuff (ew taxes), and planning for the year. and every time, in that same breath, things ramp up and we find ourselves busy again 😂 and we’re grateful for that. for the last two years we’ve been trying to plan our year strategically (no shooting weddings around major holidays, taking a month off in the summer and winter, aim for only 2-3 weddings per month, etc…) and this year is no different except we might emphasize the rest part more. I hope you do the same. I hope you take time to enjoy life with your people. slow down. be. there’s no award for the busiest.

Last month, I received the most devastating news from the mother of one our grooms that her son, Matthew, had passed away. Some of you noticed my silence on here and checked in and this was why. We’re so heartbroken. They had only been married for three months. Matias and I are still in shock. I can’t fully process/understand what’s happened. It’s hard for me to look at these images, seeing him full of life and knowing he’s gone. Our hearts are with Hillary and their families. What a tragedy. Please pray for them. ❤️‍🩹

Matthew, we’re better people having known you. Thank you for all the times you and Hillary checked in on us throughout your wedding day, you always made sure I had enough water and that I wasn’t overworking myself shooting while being super pregnant. The kindest soul. We love you.

it’s safe to say we have our own love story with these guys. from helping them plan their elopement last year to Matias officiating it, and having also documented their big wedding celebration over the weekend with Matias as their officiant again, we’ve formed such a special bond with them. congrats again, Kristin and Guerby!

Our Story

Most days you can find me in yoga pants snuggling on the couch next to my husbabe, Matias, and our little babe, Lincoln, trying not to binge watch Netflix shows and dreaming of our next travel adventure. I am a wedding photographer, a plant lady, a brownie and food enthusiast, and a woman who always has her bags packed for the next adventrure. Our life here is short, so I believe in making it count, keeping it real, and always finding reasons to connect to people. I love snowboarding, creating a cozy home atmosphere, and gathering people over for a meal at my table.

My photography style is raw, real, and authentic. I will do anything to capture those candid moments between two people who are wildly crazy about each other. To me, the most important part of a wedding day is the beginning of a lifelong commitment between two people. And that’s what YOU need to be focused on! I will do whatever it takes to help make things run smoothly and light. Years from now, I want you to look at your wedding photos and and feel the love, laughter, and bliss all over again.
