A flash back Friday pic from 2019 when I first met Maria in person at my first flower farm (80 + dahlias and some other stems) in New Haven. We had found each other on Instagram through the flower farming community in Connecticut and had many conversations about growing techniques, favored varieties and our future plans to be foraging farmer florists!

Today I met her at her beautiful home where she grows all her own flowers and assisted in creating some lovely wedding florals for a celebration tomorrow.

My main goal in using social media is to network and have a space to share the beauty I experience and create with like minded folks. I'm feeling grateful for the friends I've made here 💚

*Not me attempting to join the 5 am club*
However, when something you love draws you out of bed to work everyday, by choice, I guess its just doubling down to get up early and work on that with quiet uninterrupted focus and excitement. People really get up by choice at 5 am everyday though?! 😅

A big thank you to for creating this cutting garden planner so I can really document my first season BACK as a farmer florist. It's been a whirlwind last few years but I am really looking forward to doing what I love and am good at, and bringing you all along with me be it through business, advice or just some colorful blooming eye candy for your feed.

Lush foliage, wildflowera and pops of reds, mustards and strong blues! How'd we do?

I had the honor of not only doing the flowers for and but I was also a bridesmaid. It wasn't an easy task to make sure all the celebratory blooms were arranged and fresh while also being part of the bridal party, but the couple and long time friends knew I could do it! Not without the help of and as well as the bride herself and all the bridesmaids.

I can't wait to share all the photos taken by especially since I wasn't able to take any photos myself 🤪

One of my all time favorite arrangements I've made is this one right here. Landed on Hannah and Alex's midsummer sweetheart table at Gastler Farm in Durham CT about a year ago today.

Zinnias, strawflower, gladiolus, Lillie's, lisis, foxglove, dahlia, lotus, scabiosa in all its forms, poppy pods, craspedia, half ripened tomato branches, peaches were all local and sourced from my garden, the brides mother's garden and . Coral charm peonies were much past their season here in CT so we reached out to Alaska, and they delivered! Literally!

It's never been so fun to put together flowers. The elements just fell in love!

Fun color bursts for this weekly kitchen island arrangement.

Always love me some ranunculus but I CANNOT WAIT for the 2023 garden freshies! New dahlia tubers ordered, seeds ready to sow... I'm taking my garden seriously this year! 🙌🏼💐

I revived the centerpiece from last year - including a few upgrades!

The trees, birch candles and orchid pots are attached with strong magnets, making the runner customizable, easy to water, reusable, and easy to transport! The candle holders are also lined with gold paint, making the most glow out of a small votive and also big enough to hold a battery powered candle for a more low maintenance/safe option! 🎄✨

All my wreaths I post are hand cut and handmade from a wide variety of greenery. Sometimes a grass plume or feather makes it in there too..

Here's a front door wreath featuring a little bird nest and lots of natural elements. Double gold lined ribbon for the slightest touch of fancy ✨

I'm so happy with how this fun and modern garden design turned out.

Early this spring I met with the homeowner to go over the plants I chose and why - the seasonal elements, shapes, functionality with house, ease of maintenance. Other than swapping the Japanese maple for a weeping Katsura we fell in love with, nothing was changed!

This summer was a challenge for the gardens, but we got everything installed properly just in time. I absolutely love the shape and color of the sweet gums. The slender silhouette (also the name of the cultivar) is perfect to allow maximum light into the front windows. The weeping Katsura had an incredible structure for enjoyment through each season, and the simple mass plantings of grey owls, Mexican feather grass, lavender and astilbe are all very happily filling in and picking up where one leaves off as the seasons shifted.

Swipe for the simple rendering I did. Love my iPad Pro and helping my clients have an actual vision for their landscapes. 👏🏼

Happy anniversary to my ever so talented and beautiful best friend and her husband Rob.

I had the pleasure of making her bridal bouquet as well as all the other florals for her special day four years ago. We wandered around the gorgeous old New Canaan estate, where they called home, catching snowflakes on our tongues, soaking up the lazy warm November sunshine, and danced into the night alongside plenty of friends and family.

Alina, next week we are getting dinner and I'm going to harass you about those disposable cameras we need to get developed! (On me of course) LOVE YOU!

A little pumpkin-scape for a mailbox at the end of a Greenwich neighborhood.

If no one else sees it, I'm sure the squirrels will! Despite the layers of natural bug repellent and Vicks v***r rub, they have been chewing on everything!

Maybe this means snow this winter? 🙏🏼❄️🎿

I never did show you the flowers from Hannah and Alex's late July wedding. It was one of my favorite head table arrangements I've ever done. The mix of mustards and corals had been envisioned for a few long years before they all came together in a long and low brass urn.

The bride and her mother searched far and wide for some beautiful colored glass vessels and an incredible assortment of brass candleholders (which I was lucky enough to buy off of them after the wedding was through - love my brass for work AND play!)

Sorry to throw off the fall aesthetic, but this jumped out at me while editing some fall shots in Lightroom.

Enjoy 🍁✨

These back terrace planters were a long season winner in my books. This was back in June. When properly deadheaded and fed, Garden Meister fuchsia and begonias can thrive until frost! Loved this 2022 summer combo.
