A marquee fit for a king. Last week in-between the 4 weddings and a festival, we were tasked with providing a tea tent for King Charles visit to Guernsey. Along with Generators for the screens and traders, furniture for states meeting, event caravan, gazebo, luxury toilets, chairs power and toilets at Cambridge Park for the family fun day party while the Royals were In town. A busy and varied week and proud to be called on.

Some of today's work. Twin peaked marquee with a pair of Hex Ends, along with picnic benches, haybales, chairs, tables, luxury loos, stage decks generators and Distro for Aztec Le Pommier Hotel, a pleasure to be the main equipment supplier and working with our friends at 3D Events.

Also up to The Farmhouse Hotel, Guernsey with another luxury toilet trailer, generator, furniture, stage and our 12m walu marquee.😍

Its almost the weekend and its a big one on St Peterport sea front. Saturday we will be setting up the finish for the Saffery Rotary Walk at the Liberation monument. Always enjoy seeing the huge numbers of walkers that take part, just seems to grow and grow.

Sunday we will be setting up stages, power, tents and furniture all along the seafront for Guernsey Arts as the main contractor for the Arts Seafront Sunday.

Huge May completed. Started off with Siam Cup 12m x 45m frame marquee fully wood floored and lined, tables and chairs for 500 people and a 9m x 27m supporters and players marquee with furniture for a further 170 people. Plus generators, bar marquee, toilets and audio. A great Result for Guernsey winning Siam. The party was pretty big afterwards, always a huge event for Guernsey Raiders

Then a lovely little wedding celebration the same weekend before all of the Liberation Day fun.

Liberation Day Guernsey St Peterport: 3 music areas at Castle Cornet. Chairs, tables, toilets, generators and power dustro and Marquee on Crown Pier. Last post pub: stages, generators, distro and toilets. L'ree common: Marquee, generators, distro, stage and toilets.
Cobo hotel: Toilets for Balcony gig.

Hanger ball, 800 white chairs, 140 trestle tables, blue out cloth on walls, red carpet and power for The Farmhouse Hotel, Guernsey catering.

Several Generator jobs throughout the month and then finishing off May with the incredible Guernsey Together Festival. 10 x Generators, 16,116sqft of marquee cover, toilets, furniture and our new big PA. Great atmosphere and plenty of people enjoying two days of music.

No time for a rest though. June will be just as huge and lots more public events for you all to enjoy 🙂

Here's a few people enjoying Buffalo Huddleston band at Guernsey Together Festival with our brand new JBL Professional SRX910 line array. Festival vibes, good times and a couple of cold ones. Bank Holiday weekends were made for this.....

just don't tell all the staff working these events that Monday is meant to be a holiday.

The Drunken Duck Guernsey has been establishing itself as a music pub. With regular Irish sessions, unplugged club, live music every Friday and occasionally the utter nonsense that is Stretchy's Damaged Disco....... The existing PA just wasn't going to cut it. So we are pleased we have been able to supply them an upgrade, they've just taken delivery of a pair of brand new JBL Professional Eon 715. So you can enjoy quality audio with your pint.

Down at L'Eree this afternoon clearing the last of their Liberation Day celebrations with our new toy. Making lifting a lot easier. Nice to round the day off out west in the Sunshine. Massive thanks to Neil at N.E. Signs & Graphics for getting our branding on and Fusion Engineering & Motorworks Ltd for the fit out of the crane and new bed build. Excellent work from both companies and for putting up with my constant questions and demands.

Summer is coming!

Well hopefully it is!

Whilst this isn't the 1st marquee of the year by a long way it is nice to be getting on with the big builds summer events bring. 12m x 25m with Hex end up for the whole summer. We will post some more on this build as it progresses and the other structures are added.

Next week it's Sure Guernsey Marathon so we will be all over the island building marquees. Let's see how red we can make Craig...........

Ok Enough of that nonsense. Obviously it was an Aprils fool joke, we're not setting up in the UK. The only UK part of what we do is hiring vans and allowing them to be taken to the UK. Peugeot boxers, Ford Transit Long wheel base, Mercedes Sprinter Luton.

Thank you for the messages of support though, sorry you fell for it but we won't be naming and shaming those that did.😆

A couple of weeks ago we gave away a large assortment of fabrics, drapes etc from weddings and events that had come to its end of usefulness to us but rather than skip it we wanted people to make use of it and I was pleased to see it's been put to use to brighten Guernsey up. Thank you to Tamara for sending me this image of her work with some of the materials.

About us:
We are the largest of the Marquee/outdoor event companies in the bailiwick. We supply full wedding packages as well as supporting other event companies with power and facilities. We supply and build the largest marquees for the summer shows and major public events as well as audio and lighting, generators and distro, chairs, tables, decor and toilet facilities, we also offer Van hire.

We are a major supplier for events such as Guernsey Together festival, Chaos festival, Alderney Week, Vale Earth fair, Guernsey Marathon, Saffery Rotary walk, North Show, West Show, Vintage Agricultural Show, Siam Cup, Liberation Day, KPMG Castle nights, Guernsey Arts Sea front Sunday and many more.

The job involves a lot of heavy lifting and working outside. With the type of work involved we do work evenings and weekends and this is at an enhanced rate. The jobs we do are across the bailiwick so will involve trips to Sark, Herm and Alderney. You will be involved in putting on the incredible public events that happen every summer in Guernsey as well as unique weddings and corporate events. You will be working alongside our 8 person regular team who have been with us for many years. It is hard work but enjoyable.

PPE, uniform and training provided. A full driving licence is essential.

We would also be interested in hearing from people who would like to work part time evenings and weekends to earn extra on top of their normal job and as above, PPE, uniform and training provided. A full driving licence is essential.

The Bank Job. Last week we were Ryan's Diamond Drilling &Cutting partners in crime. He required some decent power for his wire cutting machine to do its work on the banks vault. 45kva 3phase Generator and obviously you don't want to disturb the neighbours when you are chopping a hole in the wall of a bank vault, so it was one of our super quiet units.
