Hannah first got into mixing through her passion for music as a teenager before taking a season in Ibiza when she was 19. She then bought turntables and at this time, Chris Hanna (Carlton Doom) himself was giving pointers to Hannah to help her on her journey.

After multiple trips to places like Berlin, international festivals and amazing local nights Hannah has been playing for close to 10 years, and in clubs for over 5 years. During this time she has played for Twitch, Exile, Industry, Beat BBQ, OCD, Misfit, Filthies, Stereo Sessions, GIRL (ran by Marion Hawkes) and Detonate NI.

Hannah's influence has stemmed from experiencing Berlin's heavy techno scene, twitch nights with Joy Orbison style breaks, dubplates and minimal/tech house in Ibiza, which forms her eclectic tastes developed over the years.

After she joins us on Friday, Hannah is playing twice on Saturday before closing twitch this Sunday with a techno set!

Aztec's favourite local duo 💛

Two of the founders of ,Eoin and Christy have played at all of our shows to date, warming up the dancefloor and perfectly setting up headline acts.

Playing for Jika Jika this has given them the opportunity to play with acts such as Nite Fleit, Patrick Topping and Yasmin Gardezi. These two bring a groovy house sound which has only improved over time as they headline local nights and continue to impress crowds locally and further afield in cities such as Derry, Manchester and Liverpool.

These two are renowned for their understanding of event planning and mixing which gives us the perfect way to kick off the night on Friday! 🕺

Belfast born and based DJ Caolán Patrick began mixing to crowds at 16, playing at warehouse raves across the country. From this, he was booked by clubs such as Kelly's, Lux and Thompson and played club nights such as; Shine, Industry and OCD. Caolan has also made a number of radio appearances on Blast 106, Cool Fm and Limbo radio (Manchester).

He has been on support for countless big-name DJs such as: Cera Alba, Clouds, Coyu, Dj Boring, Mark Blair and Patrick Topping. His influence on the events and club movement has even led to his own portrait being displayed in The Black Box.

After an impromptu B2B with Mark Blair on at the weekend Caolan joins on Friday before he takes the Industry reigns again on Saturday to support Yasmin Gardezi @ the folk town!

Due to the high number positive Covid-19 cases and especially so many of you being positive/ isolating on the 23rd, we have unfortunately come to the decision to postpone the upcoming event.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and look forward to hosting an event in 2022 which everyone can attend in a safe and relaxed manner.

AZTEC IS BACK BABY

Unbelievably buzzing to have AVA regular and one of the most exciting djs in the country - Carlton Doom - making the trip up to the north coast. Expect house, techno, garage, and a whole load of energy.

Some incredible DJs on support too, with OCD's Caolán Patrick and Thompsons' resident McConkey playing a b2b. Then Portrush's own Yorke n Cole - Christy Donnelly and Eóin Friel kicking things off for us.

Keeping it simple - all tickets will be £5 on entry, doors at 8pm. And all that money + donations going to Childlife NI.
