Simon Baert
_ was born in 1999 in the university hospital in Ghent and spent his childhood in nearby De Pinte. After finishing secondary school, he started studying illustration at .schoolofarts in Ghent, where he graduated in 2022. Simon relates to his visual language through various media, but in recent years he has developed an intimate bond with his pen and inkwell. With a rickety wrist, he conjures up a tangle of visual scenes that explore the boundaries of conventional figurative drawing. In terms of content, the drawings often translate absurd stories that originate from old myths or sagas. Humor plays a central role both in his work and in his daily life.

Annelies Bollaers

obtained a Master’s degree in Illustration in 2022 at .schoolofarts in Ghent. Her work is characterized by a distinctive color palette, combined with geometric elements that together create a new world. Her images arise from her imagination but always maintain a link to reality. The created scenes exist on the exciting border between painting and illustration art.

Beppe Geerts

is a visual artist. She recently graduated in September 2024 as an illustrator at .schoolofarts Ghent. Earlier, in 2021, she obtained her master’s degree as a graphic designer. Furthermore, she has a great interest in various other disciplines. She explores different types of media and materials. She usually finds her inspiration in her surroundings and daily life. Her works are colorful and are characterized by a striking use of perspective and strong compositions. Her work is built up in different layers, just like in Photoshop. She mainly focuses on the front and top view. In 2023, Geerts created several still lifes, which were shown in Villa Verbeelding. She also participated in exhibitions at , , , etc.
