Alright flower lovers! 💐 When you have a fresh vase of flowers how often do you change the water? Do you change the water daily or do you just let your flowers hang out in murky water? 🙃 Keeping fresh water in your vase is one of the keys to long lasting fresh cut flowers. Change the water daily and if you have time make sure you to clean your vase too.

I embarked upon my flower journey last summer as a way to spread joy in my community of and and hundreds of flower arrangements later we just finished our second season of pop-up summer flower deliveries. 🍁 I’m a Detroit girl and one of the things I miss the most about living in Michigan is the fall time. Michigan has the best fresh hot donuts and apple cider.

👯‍♀️ I have two sweet daughters Naomi (6) and Ruby (3).

🥚 I started eating eggs 6 years ago. Before then I wouldn’t touch a scrambled egg or deviled egg. I still don’t eat deviled eggs or anything poached or not cooked hard, but I’m getting there. Baby steps. Lol!

It’s fall y’all and it’s hard to believe that 2 weeks have already passed since we wrapped up with our summer pop-up flower deliveries! We can’t thank you enough for your support! Summer has now become one of our favorite times of the year because we get to deliver happy blooms to our neighbors and friends! Many of our summer flower subscribers are repeat customers and that means the world to us! Happy Sunday! Carla, here, the curator of . 💐 What quiets your spirit and brings you a sense of calm? For me it’s a solo walk outside, the scent of a fragrant candle filling the room, and a vase of fresh flowers in the kitchen. Last fall I incorporated daily walks to my self care routine and this small act has been life changing. It’s been a beautiful exploration walking through the change of seasons. From falling leaves to layering up for the cold temperatures, it’s my happy place. This spring I took pictures of blooming flowers in my neighborhood on my daily walks and it was quite delightful to quiet my mind enough to notice the subtle changes of the world. I encourage you to do more of what brings you peace. Here’s a picture from one of my daily walks this spring

Happy hump day. 🍸 Carla, here! On Monday, my husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at the rooftop bar . It's located inside the new in uptown Charlotte. When we arrived the hostess shared with us that the cocktails were inspired by Queen Charlotte's love of botanicals. I was immediately excited, as I love cocktails with herb and floral notes.

Y’all I am so obsessed with the smell of lime basil and I’ve been waiting all year for this delightful herb.
