Because, I'm a bit confused again.
How do you clearly do someone's routine or mix and not pay homage? I don't get it.

When you play regular songs you actually let "Dj Khalid" & "Dj Mustard" play out your sets, but when doing someones blend, you don't give them a shout at the very least... 😆 😔 🤣

Good Afternoon. No Dj Debates today, just here to tell you...

I'm honored to have a Legend like Dj Nestle Quik agree to be a part of THE BOSS TOWN BLEND BATTLES (Twilight Zone Edition).

I respected Quik's Turntable skills loooonng before I was a actual Dj. Facts!

This competition came down to who could be paired up to compete where both Djs could do more than just play the regular songs in a party, and neither Dj is left feeling upset by what the other Dj does on stage.

Both Quik (Dell Johnson) and I are both amped to be able to bring you something different, so please keep the energy around this positive.

I have no idea what The Good Brother will be bringing to the table, but I'm amped.

For the record there is only one Dj trick that can't be done on a controller.

Here's a hint: aka Maurice Thomas was famous for this highly technical Dj move...

How can we as Djs complain online about how the game changed if we never excelled at the game before the change?

The only difference in the Dj Game is that the everyday person can TRY to rock a party. Dont Believe The Hype! There were wack Djs in the '80s & 90's too, we just called them "Suckas".

I do not own these, but if a Dj shows up with these to your event and charges you under a grand. You got a major deal...

Of course we all want everything to sound perfect, but yall only want the $300 package tho... 😆 A great Dj invests alot so you can spend according to the service that you want.

By the way this ONE SPEAKER cost $1,999 If a Dj charges you $1500 to Dj and one of these breaks that event just cost the Dj about $400 out of pocket (depending upon your gear insurance)...

In candor my Speakers (JBL IRXs) are only about $550 each (alittle over $800 for the sub). If one of them breaks I can replace it easier than one of these RCF jawns, but the question is; if I take your event and something bad happens, how much am I out of pocket for doing your event?

As Djs most of us are really brand conscious when it comes to our personal setups.

As a member of the Title Team Djs we pride ourselves on not being stuck to a brand. Not that there are rules against it, we just take pride in being able to use every type of set up. From turntables, to controllers. And no matter the speakers we have a general sweetspot for our overall sound. Now with that being said...

I have 3 different main set ups depending upon where I am betewwen NE & the Tri State...

My personal New England Main Set Up (decks/controller changes but the brands are AlphaTheta Pioneer DJ USA & Rane Corporation, Technics, & Numark), My Boston speakers are JBL IRXs, My Boston outboard mixer is Harbinger.

My Personal Tri State Setup is AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ Global, & all Rockville Audio (Amp/12 Channel Mixer, & unpowered speakers 12" tops, 15" bottoms).

My Western PA setup is a work in progress, but & Hercules Audio controllers, TT1610 turntables, w/ Gemini AS2115BT tops (yeah they are lower priced but the sound on these things though).

I said all of the above because I'm thinking streamline. One brand to do it all in every city, and after this week at one brand has out shined them all.

We'll continue bringing our clients the same clean, punchy sound that they hire us for, but with the right gear, our jobs become easier. Less time tweaking the sound to get what you deserve the better.

From the XPRS Series & Wav 8 Speaker quality to the decks, controllers, studio monitors, and headphones may have made a fan boy out of me.
