It’s a rainy day here in the city 🏙️

I had an engagement scheduled for tomorrow and thankfully we had a ‘rain check’ date set ahead of time ☔️

I get a full reset day with my honey and I plan on spending every moment soaking it up as I recover from the day before! Although I won’t have an engagement tomorrow morning, I get to fly out to Vegas and reunite with an absolute best friend ♥️

You can never go wrong with a First Look 🥹

The groom from this wedding was one of a kind—I’ll never forget him. His designer pants (from Rent the Runway) ripped and so he called his bride to let her know there would be a slight delay but did so without causing panic! He took it to his seamstress in the opposite direction and made it back in time to still have their first look 😅

ALL the while doing so, he DoorDashed some McDonalds to his bride and wedding party so they had some comfort food while being patient 😂

AWAY we go ✈️

It’s official—I’m going to Iceland! Later this year, I get to follow alongside and document her last hosted sapphic trip of the year 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

As some of you may know, since my father has passed, I’ve marked milestones differently. This week has been a package of emotions as I’ve landed dream weddings across the country and across the oceans, and lastly, because I’ve been given the opportunity of a lifetime to share my talent with a person of like mind and heart ♥️

Another major event has been greeted and this one comes with travel—the thing I feel most connected to my dad with. I meet him during sunrises and sunsets, at the edge of mountains, where the tides come to greet me, when the wind sends butterflies my way, when the smell of rain fills my lungs, when the song of nature floods me with memories, when I experience something new, when my heart feels so full it could explode.

I’ve had a challenging past few years and in those moments of pain, I found hope in what would come after all of it. I couldn’t have dreamt this up and now I have the honor of seeing people of my community experience new things, explore new emotions, make human connections all the while digging their feet into Mother Nature and connecting them back to what keeps us all grounded. I would never have this opportunity if it weren’t for my new friend, Syd 🥰

Iceland will be a dream and I am excited to meet so many walks of life! Tomorrow (4/4 at 12p EST) will be the official launch and it will surely fill up, so if you haven’t already, set an alarm and sign up for those notifications!

I love this couple. I will never forget catching them in the bridal suite sneaking in some smooches and snacks. In that moment they heard Chappel Roan playing so dropped everything to run, hand in hand, to the dance floor to do the Hot To Go dance 🪩

A week with two weddings 🤩

April opens up with a bang for me—having a wedding on Friday and Saturday!

Tomorrow, I get to hop on a call with someone special for an insane collaboration that will hopefully open up more opportunities in the future! 😅

Until I sign a contract I refuse to announce anything that could potentially jinx it 💁🏻‍♀️ Everyone cross their fingers and toes for me!

there is so much weight around the word ‘intentional’ when it comes to wedding photographers—but what about the moments that feel raw and in the moment? the moments that feel so private and personal you almost feel like you as the viewer are part of something you shouldn’t be. there is something magical about that in-between and unfinished ✨
