SAT AUG 19th - After his breakout hit 'Got A Feeling' in 2013, Josh gained recognition in the industry, winning awards from Beatport and DJ Mag. He released music on various labels like Roush, Cajual, Madtech, Avotre, VIVa, and Noir. He also remixed tracks for Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, and Joris Voorn, and had successful EPs on Rejected, Defected, Poker Flat, Kaoz Theory, and 8Bit. Josh's global touring schedule included Ibiza residencies, performances at renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, SW4, Defected Croatia, Parklife, Secret Garden Party, and multiple tours across Europe, the US, and Australia.

charshansuri - 2023 Toronto

A few years ago, an idea was born to bring together Toronto's nightlife elite of Iranian descent and create an event to celebrate Persian charshabehsuri, the last Wednesday of the Persian Lunar year. Fast forward to today, and the event has grown to over 2200 attendees, all drawn by the incredible talent of local DJs and performers. The first four hours of the event are dedicated to house music, seamlessly transitioning into Persian club-style house jams and culminating in a lively mix of pop sing-alongs and traditional music. Remarkably, this all takes place on a Tuesday night, and it's a testament to the universal love for house music in all its various forms. As for my role in this endeavour, I’ve decided to step away from the spotlight and be the guy behind the scenes in the shadows, making things happen and to ensure everything runs smoothly while the rest of the team is out in front, driving this well-oiled machine forward. It's an honour to be a part of this incredible Team/event, and we have big plans in store for the future, so stay tuned! Happy Nowrouz to all Persian peeps around the globe!
