But a few of the many highlights I was able to capture from the Acosta wedding party I DJ'd last Saturday. The couple had planned their wedding for April 4, 2020 but the pandemic interrupted their plans. They had a simple wedding with just family in August of that year. This was their chance to party and celebrate with families and friends on the bride's family property. Thanks to Jacob and Christine for trusting me to keep the party going into the wee hours of the night.

I love helping to create surprises at weddings and I wish I could say this was one of mine, but it's incredible nonetheless. It's a flash mob obviously headed by the maid of honor that happened during the toasts and obviously took an emense amount of work to involve the entire wedding party! I enjoyed providing music and announcing for a simple but very special backyard event last weekend. The Pelton family wanted to celebrate their son Brandon's return from 4 years in the Marines and their daughter Kylie's decision to join the Navy. A host of close friends and family joined in the celebration. It wasn't a dancing event, but I provided appreciated background for the gathering, sound for some very emotional toasts. Guests enjoyed refreshments, together time and lots of Co****le, but the food was amazing. It was Sonoran dogs from the Ruiz truck and easily some of the best in town. We somehow squeezed the event in during a much appreciated break in the rains that lasted all weekend, except during the party. I put together a sized down system that could quickly be covered or taken inside if it rained. Thanks to Brad, Jennifer, Brandon and Kylie for trusting me to help make the night special.
