134 loans and counting on the Kiva platform!

We just gave a $200 loan to Julifa from Uganda and together with other Kiva lenders she has reached the loan she needed to enlarge her stock.

Julifa is a refugee mother of 4 children who all attend school. Life has been very challenging to this mother, however she chose not to give up, but to look at it as an opportunity to be a better person.

Today she is a farmer who grows millet, morghum and maize; besides this she also rears poultry and some goats. She also has a small stall that mainly sells home consumption goods.

Through these activities she provides some basic needs to the family, although not able to give all they would need. She would like to add more stock to the stall.

Since she already has many clients, she will be able to boost her sales, offer her a better life and her dream is to build a permanent house.
