Dont really use FB these days. Even my personal page is just reposts from TikTok due to thr Meta Algorithms being the worst.
Anyway, been busy with work and family but have a few weeks leave coming up.
Hopefully can knock out a couple things I have been working on when I have time.

Still getting into the studio when i can. Tunes are a little muddy so some eq and mastering practice needs to be worked on. Probably late February, early March next year will start having time to do mixes more regularly. Probably fortnightly or Monthly once life is a little more balanced.
But here is something close to my heart, lose to Dec 3rd Day of International day of persons with Disabilities and especially this years focus on Hidden Disabilities. Of which I have 2 and here is some more information on one of those.

Update: It's been a while. My son is nearly 8 months now and just started daycare 3 days a week, so later this year will start buying tunes again and maybe start recording a set every 2 weeks.
Also been a little work in the studio with a few dirty jungle tunes near completion but limited time of a couple hours a month, so things are slowly developing. Looking to work on some Dirty DnB next, see how things go.

Spent the last few days in isolation and coping in the only way I know how after the sudden passing of my brother early Monday morning in the studio. Cam was really the only person who has always supported my musical tastes, productions and events.

So I have tidying up some things that I had previous posted in an attempt to improve the audio quality. These are just 60-90 second versions and I have trimmed it back to 3 tunes I am really happy with
1. Touching Down feat PAB (Pab sampled from my set with him at Inbound in 2019)- 170bpm
2. Diagnosis- 175bpm
3. Drums of Eternity- 174bpm (Cam loved his hardcore & gabba, so this one samples a few old Rave tunes mashed into Jungle breaks)

I will add to this playlist as I tidy up others and create new ones.

A personal update for those who don't follow my personal account. This a long one, so thanks for your patience and understanding of anyone reading on.

About 2 weeks ago I finally got diagnosed with ASD (Autism) after being diagnosed with ADHD a couple months back.

Being diagnosed means taking a look back at my life through a different perspective.

This perspective sees how I failed with friendship not because of childhood trauma of bullying and social isolation leading to failed understanding of social interactions but a deeper issue relating to nuerodivengence and how untreated it created complex interpersonal and intrapersonal issues.

Thanks to the Rave scene in the 90s I was able to find a safe space to be able to express myself through music and dance.

However, it didnt change my inability to understand compex social interactions without self medicating with Alcohol, W**d, Acid and Speed.

I'd arrive at the rave with our small crew about 11pm. We'd drop at midnight and then with exclusion of toilet and water breaks would be on the dancefloor until 7am/ close; engulfed in my own space being able to stim, express my true self and release all my energy without drawing unwanted judgement or attention to myself and having to have very little eye contact.

Under the influence i could interact with relative confidence but that also meant I would eventually alienate everyone due to my inability to self regulate my personal opinions and skewed perception of the world.
Thanksfully the inbound crew were pretty tolerant for quite sometime and gave me a family i connected with more than any social/ family group before them.

It wouldnt be until 2016 and moving to Melbourne that i was able to embrace the music again that i loved as I once had. I briefly played with 140bpm stuff round 2008-2014 but nothing quite dug it claws in like Jungle/ DnB into my soul.

So when I finally managed to leave the house for something other than walking the dogs or work I had the pleasure of attending "Junglistic" and finding a spot on the floor and once again staying in my spot until close except toilet and drinks breaks keeping my social interaction down to purely smiles when getting eye contact with those around me. I was alone but safe in my bass bubble. Often I tend to keep my eyes closed lost in the aural realm..

In 2019 just 2 months before Covid i managed to spend spend my annual leave exploring DnB/ Jungle in Melbourne thanks to the MLBDnB Loners group. The socialising was still exhausting as one of my issues is auditory processing (Sometimes i heard but delay in processing. I may say, what and then just before you repeat it, ill answer the questions and sometimes it doesn't process at all.) and loud venues make this even harder but these people were amazing patient with this 40+ year old and while i was happy lost in sound on the dancefloor it was handy having some people around to make me feel as at home as possible.

Anyway, so this mix below was recorded in 2004 and was a love letter to the scene and music that i felt had abandoned me but in reality it had been exhausted by my inability to socially regulate, understand group dynamics and how friendships work leading me to focus on work and avoid all social interactions more and more.

So please enjoy and explore this mix and understand this is the purest expression of my being that my words, posts and face may struggle to express.

As I learn more about my autism that the one thing that will never betray me is the way i express myself through music
This is the purest expression of my existence.

NOVEMBER 2021 Update:
Finally booked the 1210s in for a service, so should be able to have an analogue mix by christmas. Looking forward to pitch controllers that don't have minds of their own.
Also been bouncing stems out of Reason into Ableton to polish up some turds and have 3 new tunes in the works also requiring a little polish and Eq'n.
