Picture: Version 3 (out of 4). Just like rewriting this manuscript 4 times I drafted 4 versions of the cover. I knew the scene I wanted to illustrate. I very much wanted to do it in the style of the 80s fantasy books I had grown up on like the Blue Sword and the Hero and the Crown. This did not emulate the technique and feeling I wanted and shortly after this I picked up the pencil to try again.

We are still recovering from the ball and may go a little radio silent for a couple weeks before we start releasing details for the next one. Here is a cool before and after of the venue though, our volunteers kicked ass and got the space looking like another realm in 8 hours. The venue was amazing with all that they did to help bring this event to life!
