On our wedding day, we should take time to be thankful for that handful of your nearest and dearest - our bridesmaids! Craft a little something just for her. In looking back with them at all the times you’ve laughed and cried, see if there are pieces of nostalgia that might serve as a pleasant reminder of the past seasons you’ve spent together: perhaps pastries from a favorite bakery or even beautiful paper pieces that she can keep and frame forever.

At Sight of The First Bloom Part ii | My biggest challenge in creating this moving floral gown was to provide a water source for the blooms without foam, which I resolved with using multiple mini water tubes, created with the thinnest plumbing tubes possible, and attaching them to the back of the floral gown which I could hide with greens. The technique for the bottom of the gown was inspired by the Hawaiian grass hula skirt. I created multiple light and airy greenery floral garlands which I tied together in a hoop directly onto the model. I had a sketch of the overall shape of the gown that I wanted to achieve and all of the above was done 4 hours prior to shooting to ensure that the blooms were at their prime.
