A very special interview with Barnie Duncan is Juan Vesuvius and other things who performs in the NZ International Comedy Festival
I remember meeting Barnie in my early 20's, he flatted with my 95bFM workmate Dunc The Funk. The 2 of them used to put on the best parties in an old deco building in Morningside.
I have not seen Barnie in many years, but we have a very honest, special chat - and no surprise - he picks fantastic songs.

Our guest picking the music is comedian and DJ Barnie Duncan. Barnie has re-joined forces with fellow Kiwi comedian Trygve Wakenshaw to share their absurdist vision of the modern office in the show Different Party. Different Party runs 14-18 May as part of the NZ International Comedy Festival.

To catalogue my listening so far this year, 2024, here are recently released albums that I have on high rotate.
Some people are saying the format of the album is on its way out, due to streaming.
Some musicians are saying they won’t be writing or recording albums anymore. Just singles & small collections of songs…
They say no one listens to a full album anymore. I do. Do you?
Albums in order:

The very tall, interesting & funny picks the music on this Saturday 4pm 🚨
He speaks honestly about ADHD (he is being tested soon) Alcoholism, in the NZ Comedy scene, and heap of other stuff - although this all sounds super heavy, he makes me laugh and picks great tunes!
