💙I had my aura photographed by the fabulous Melissa at HausWitch in Salem. The results brought me to tears...in a good way. If you're in Salem, I 100% recommend.

😛I had a feeling that I carry serious energy...so I stuck my tongue out to bring some cheeky lightheartedness...it didn't work.

🧐I was sceptical. During the week of Halloween, three separate people who I did readings for told me that they could see auras and mine was blue. I thought it's because I was sitting under blueish light... but it turns out... they're right.

🫂What does this mean? Unsurprisingly, lots of people in our lovely group had blue in their aura. It's a colour that represents caring for others and having a strong connection to your intuition.

🎨The shades of blue in mine are blue, indigo, and aquamarine. I'm deep, caring, provide space for others and have a big heart. I possibly give too much and desperately need grounding (all the Mercury in my chart agrees!).

🧙‍♀️I didn't take many snaps in Salem due to my injury, but here's a few! The highlight by far were all the new friends I made...I'll be coming back to visit you all!

🧀I learned about purse cheese...literally keeping emergency cheese in your handbag.

🦑Played increasingly odd rounds of "hear me out." Cthulhu seems normal by this point.

👻Lead my first séance on my brand new used 1966 Ouija Board.

🕯Took part in lots of lovely group rituals and workshops.

✈️Time for a break! October was brilliant but very intense. During Halloween week alone, I read tarot for over 300 individuals and now desperately need some downtime.

🧙‍♀️But I'm not escaping tarot entirely... I'm off to Boston and Salem. In fact, in Salem, I'll be on a witch's retreat! I'm hoping this will restore me, just in time for Christmas party season.

🔮I've so enjoyed reading under the purple lights with my Deviant Moon tarot deck with rum based libations.

🖤I don't want Halloween to end... but I'm also in need of a rest. I'm two selenite wands, a solid silver bracelet, and a tarot deck down due to the energy this spooky season has required. Maybe the Screamfest venue really was haunted. Having a room full of cursed objects was bold!

My cards:

😈The Devil: tempted - I decided to taken on lots of work because I was approached by some incredible people and brands. I overcame my anxiety about not being good enough and am super proud of myself for the jobs I've worked.

🗡8 of Swords: trapped - at each event I'm tied to my table for 3-7 hours and while it's great to be popular, I get stuck in a corner surrounded by people often shouting. Overwhelming and on the edge of a meltdown due to the environmen.

💀Death: renewed - hoping that in November, on my holiday, I'll get a chance to recover and actually have some non-work related fun!

🎃I've been doing tarot every day this month, but rarely for myself. I sat down this morning to have a little check-in and dip into my October Challenge!

🧙‍♀️I have to say that this deck definitely has a sense of humour! I used the cutesy Teen Witch Tarot. I am on the fence about this deck. What do you think of it? To me, the images all feel very one note, and I would like more diversity (especially in body shape) in the characters.

💨Air (East) - What does my mind desire? - Ace of Swords - Clarity on new projects - there is a lot going on right now, and I'm craving something new and different. I love tarot, but I would love to mix it up more!

🔥Fire (South) - How can I express my passion? - Seven of Cups, again that sense of variety. I want to dip my toe into new creative things with different groups. Currently, D&D has a lot of my attention, and I'm really getting into playing my Drow Rogue character.

💧Water (West) - What emotion(s) drive me? Knight of Swords - not sure 'competitiveness' is an emotion, but that's been a huge factor in my motivation this year! I never stop, and my hunger for knowledge and success have been key for quite some time.

🌱Earth (North) What does my body desire? - 4 of Wands - REST GIRL REST. Needless to say, with everything else going on, my body wants to nap and recharge!

✨️Spirit (Centre) - How can I connect to spirit? - DEATH, this is hilarious. Literally, if I die, I will connect to spirit. I see this as encouragement to tap into my intuition more.

1) What in my life is sweet? - Two of Ghosts (cups) - My friendships, my spooky weird friends, I am so grateful for such amazing people.

3) Caffeine Levels: How energetic am I? - The Wheel of Fortune - I mean...this is the neurodivergence showing up! I'm sometimes hyper, sometimes hibernating for days. If there's a project on the go, I'm super energised, if not, I'm low.

4)Temperature Check: Do I appear warm or cold? - Page of Pentacles - Warm to the things I care about but mostly I'm in my own little world being an introvert.

5)Cream on top: How do I surprise and delight? - The High Priestess - By being so on point with tarot readings that it's scary...duh!

♎️It's a great time to work with tarot to explore balance in your life. This spread helps assess who and what you should be focusing your attention on.

⚖️Maybe the cards will scream that you need to focus more on you, or maybe they will show that you've been distracted from a specific relationship and need to invest more energy on it.

🇮🇹Picked up this beautiful but fragile deck in Bologna. Limited to 500 copies. It's printed on very delicate thin cardboard, I'm too anxious to even shuffle it.

🃏The structure is similar to a Marsellies tarot deck, but none of the cards have a printed title. You really must focus as many can be easily confused. The minors are all simple without detailed illustration.

📜The colour palette is simple and stunning. My favourite thing about this deck is the card backs, the little cherub!

😍I have a feeling that this is one to frame rather than for use.
