Challenging the next generation of professionals, over 1,000 ProX interns, coaches, employers, and families gathered to celebrate the ProX summer internship final projects and presentations.

Planning, designing, and producing their events, we are honored to be a small part of launching these amazing individuals into the workforce!

Beth Chappelow | President and Founder

Beth founded Chappelow Events in 2014. She loves working closely with clients year after year and getting to celebrate their success alongside them. The most fulfilling part of her role is seeing how CE helps to advance mission-work with so many organizations.

🤍 She loves quality time with her husband and 5-year-old son.
📖 She enjoys reading on her Kindle to destress.
🎤 She grew up on stage doing musical theatre.
🍪 She loves a good homemade cookie.

Working with Real World Learning, we celebrated RWL educators with an afternoon of elevated food, a classroom shopping spree, and a comedy show from Andrea Campari. Laddie Lilly | Vice President

Laddie has been at CE for six years. She has loved seeing how much the company has grown and having a hand in continuing that growth. Her favorite part about planning events is being a small part in making a change in the Kansas City community.

🏠 She’s probably hanging out with her family if she’s not working
☕ She cannot live without coffee (her order is a white chocolate mocha)
🛋️ Her favorite shows are Friends and Schitts Creek
🐕 She hopes to get a Golden Shepherd mix one day

Hannah McCubbin | Event Designer & Marketing Manager

Hannah has been at CE for almost three years and is passionate about helping clients bring their ideas to life through intentional event designs. Supporting the missions and values of our clients, she loves being a small part of a much larger impact.

⛰️She loves grabbing brunch, sketching, playing guitar, hiking, and her faith
📚 She’s a big reader of classic literature and was also trained classically in voice

Sal Scott | Associate Planner & Business Development Coordinator

Sal joined the CE team over a year ago and loves event planning meetings at our clients’ offices to see the amazing work they do. At events, she also loves seeing all the fabulous guest outfits!

🐈 She has a cat named Tiggy
✈️ She loves spending time with her friends, and loves to try and convince them to go on trips with her

Variety KC Aubrey’s Book Launch | Starlight Theatre

Launching the third book in the Variety Tales series, the Aubrey’s Dream book launch was an outstanding success! With featured guest speaker, Tony Award-winning actress, Ali Stroker, Aubrey and Ali inspired Variety KC families through their stories and passion for the performing arts.

Our production and design team dreamt up whimsical installations to bring Aubrey’s story to life. Thank you to all of the amazing vendors that made this happen! ♥️

Katie Jenkins | Associate Planner

Katie joined the CE team in the fall and loves each step of the planning process, especially working with our incredible team! She especially thinks the adrenaline on event days is so much fun.

🛍️ She moved from Iowa to KC in 2022 and loves exploring fun KC restaurants, markets, and shops
🍦 She loves a good sweet treat
🎧 Her favorite music artists are Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey
🐈‍⬛ She has a cat named Alice that’s a gorgeous fluffy tuxedo kitty
