Trademark Weddings & Events was founded in 2014 by Amanda Schott as an offshoot of her successful consulting business, Trademark Strategies. She and her mother Carrie decided to put their 30+ years of combined event planning experience to good use, and thus, Trademark Weddings & Events was born. In 2016, after life had kept them in different states all across the country, Carrie and Amanda both re

Our Story

Trademark Weddings & Events is run by mother-daughter team Carrie Pettengill and Amanda Schott. Their lifelong passion for style and design has led them to be one of the most sought after teams in the Austin, Texas market.

Carrie lives with her husband, Todd, and their dog, Prince, on a beautiful piece of property in Georgetown, where they also have an amazing design studio and office space. Carrie is an active member of the community, having volunteered her time with several organizations, including the Assistance League of Georgetown.

Amanda lives with her husband, Tyler, their son, Charlie, and their dog, Tucker. She’s a member of the Junior League of Austin, and loves exploring the city with her family.
