Pt. 1 - The Ceremony

As guests entered the theater, they were transported to a bygone era of elegance and sophistication. The black theater curtain served as a dramatic backdrop, perfectly accentuating the cathedral-like candles that lined the ceremony. The flickering glow created an intimate and ethereal atmosphere.🕯️✨
The aisle itself was a sight to behold, adorned with an opulent display of 60 feet of baby’s breath and candelabras. The delicate blooms and the soft flickering of candles brought a touch of romance and grandeur to the space, making it truly unforgettable. 🕯️💫
Caroline was an absolute vision in her stunning dress, exuding timeless elegance with every step she took down the aisle. The intricate details and delicate pearls adorning her veil added a touch of old-world charm, evoking a sense of classic Hollywood glamour. ✨
Caroline and Spencer’s wedding ceremony was a perfect blend of old Hollywood vibes and timeless elegance.

We are still on cloud nine from Caroline and Spencer’s extraordinary wedding at The Civic Theater! 🕯️☁️✨ We couldn’t be more thrilled to share the incredible highlights of their special day with you!
The ceremony was a sight that took our breath away and set the stage for a truly magical union. The cathedral-like candle setting created a warm atmosphere of pure romance and was a perfect backdrop against those black theater curtains while they exchanged their vows.
Following the ceremony, we worked quickly to transform the space seamlessly from ceremony to reception while guests were on a traditional New Orleans secondline, following a cocktail hour.
The reception exuded a chic and luxurious lounge-like ambiance, inviting guests to indulge in the celebration. The space was adorned with cozy seating areas, creating pockets of relaxation and conversation amidst the excitement of the band.
We are honored to have been a part of their journey and to witness the beginning of their happily ever after!

Continuing today with Aneka and Dwayne’s unforgettable wedding reception at 💕 The ambiance was absolutely magical in the courtyard, where we set up a stunning tent adorned with elegant chandeliers and beautiful florals cascading from the ceiling. The table settings were mirrored with flickering candles, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere for dinner and dancing!
Aneka and Dwayne wanted to make a grand toast, and what better way to do it than with a tower of sparkling champagne?

Sharing more this week from Aneka and Dwayne’s wedding! Can you believe that their ceremony location at was plan B? They were due to hold their ceremony in the gardens at NOMA but rain from previous days leading up to their wedding had saturated the grounds. Moving the ceremony to the grand hall inside of the museum was as equally of a stunning plan as plan A! Stay tuned for more highlights from their special day!

We can’t help but reminisce about the incredible experience we had working on Jaci and Stephen’s wedding design! From the moment we returned from our styled shoot in Arizona, where we coincidentally were working with their amazing photographers , we were captivated by the synchronicity of their inspiration and our recent creative venture.
As we delved into Jaci and Stephen’s design journey, we were thrilled to discover that their vision aligned beautifully with what we had just crafted in the Arizona desert. We were instantly inspired to reimagine a design concept in a different environment.
We seamlessly merged soft, modern, and natural elements, incorporating an array of textures that added depth and character to their design. The stunning French-style venue, , provided a picturesque backdrop, enhancing the overall aesthetic with its timeless charm.
Throughout the process, we worked to ensure that Jaci and Stephen’s wedding design was not only a reflection of their unique love story but also a manifestation of their personal style.
We are immensely grateful to have been a part of Jaci and Stephen’s wedding journey. It was a privilege to witness their vision come to life!

Megan and Joel’s wedding was a celebration where music was the heartbeat of the day. 🎶 Very fitting for a New Orleans wedding if you ask me! The pianist lead the celebration during their ceremony 🎹, followed by a surprise choir that got guests on their feet and moved over to cocktail hour! 🎤🥂The party then got started with a disco spinning DJ 🪩 and a surf rock band 🏄♂️ 🎸that kept everyone entertained throughout the night! The party didn’t stop there as the secondline band had everyone dancing through the streets all the way to the after party! 💃 🕺 It was a night full of entertainment for sure!

It was over cocktails in a cafe on Magazine St. when Aneka and Dwayne shared their vision of “From Harlem to Hollywood” with us. We were super excited to bring their vision to life in the Big Easy!
Their ceremony was on full display nestled within the grandeur of the New Orleans Museum of Art. From there, guests were transitioned to the heart of the French Quarter in the courtyard of Brennan’s Restaurant where the glitz and glamour of Old Hollywood met the soulful feel of New Orleans.
Aneka, Dwayne and their guests paraded through the French Quarter on a classic New Orleans secondline, dined under a ceiling of beautiful lush florals and crystal chandeliers ✨ and raised their glasses as they toasted to a new beginning together.
Thank you Aneka and Dwayne for including us in your day and putting trust in us to execute your vision. 🫶🏻
