There’s nothing more rewarding than transforming our clients’ visions into reality. It’s truly like delivering a work of art, where every detail comes together to create a unique story.

When Cynthia and Evan shared their concept of an “overgrown relic,” we were instantly inspired. They envisioned a space that felt like a hidden gem, as if you had stumbled upon a venue lost in time, where nature intertwines with elegance. (So fitting for 🕯️) The design evokes a sense of life flowing forth from the old—lush vines cascading over majestic columns, delicate florals peeking through, and soft, warm lighting that creates an enchanting ambiance.

One of our favorite memories was when Cynthia and her girls took a break after hair and makeup. They came down from their hotel room, still in their robes, to check out the ceremony details. 🥹

This album was lost in the archives from many moons ago, but still remember this night like it was yesterday.

It was a night in New Orleans alive with revelry and joy. We licked the party off with a second line of course, then guests entered the reception held at a favorite local restaurant where guests were greeted with hand crafted cocktails and the sultry sounds of a jazz band.

The entertainment was endless. A caricature artist and a live poet were a few pit stops along the way to the dance floor where things really got entertaining. 🪩

Happy 12th Night! Today marks the beginning of Carnival Season in our beloved New Orleans 💜💚💛

I love how this festive season weaves its magic into our wedding celebrations. New Orleans weddings are rich with traditions, from lively second line parades to the soulful sounds of jazz. Incorporating these elements into a wedding creates a uniquely NOLA experience, honoring our culture and history.

So, as we dive into the festivities of Carnival, let’s celebrate love, and the beautiful traditions that make our weddings unforgettable. Here’s to a season filled with joy, love and most importantly, keeping everyone safe during this time. 🫶🏻

Cheers to 2025 🥂

Simultaneously looking back on 2024, thinking about our sweet couples while also looking ahead at all of our amazing 2025 couples has us so excited. We’re truly at a place where each unique client connects with us on so many different levels, and the fact that each one matches the same energy of us is just so amazing to see from our perspective.

2025 will be year TEN of Lonney Jane Productions. (Like, excuse me? What?) We can’t wait to create more beautiful spaces this year with our amazing vendor teams, each one reflecting each couple so differently and perfectly, while also advocating and supporting each couple throughout their journey.

Reflecting on one of the most special events of our year, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with emotions as I share our 10-year wedding anniversary celebration. We chose to renew our vows amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, where the peaks seemed to stand as witnesses to our love story. 🤍

Our week spent in a cozy mountainside condo felt like a retreat into our own little paradise, far from the everyday life. Surrounded by towering pines, we unplugged completely, allowing ourselves to fully immerse in the moment. We watched the snow fall, we laughed, we cried (happy tears) and spent time reconnecting with nature.

We reminisced about the past 10 years of marriage and 13 years together, celebrating the peaks of joy and the valleys of challenges that have shaped us.

This anniversary wasn’t just about looking back; it was about solidifying our commitment to each other as we continue to navigate our lives together. We feel so fortunate to have shared this unforgettable experience with each other, and we can’t wait to see how we grow over the many years to come. 🖤

Designing Olivia and Billy’s wedding was an incredible experience filled with creativity and collaboration.

For their ceremony, we focused on creating an inviting and elegant atmosphere that reflected their personalities while paying homage to Ralph Lauren’s signature style. This meant incorporating rich textures, deep colors, and classic elements that evoke a sense of timeless sophistication.

We decorated the ceremony space with cascading floral arrangements, lush greenery, and soft lighting that created a warm glow, making the setting feel both intimate and grand, giving the area a luxurious yet approachable vibe.

Being able to present the final design to Olivia and Billy before their guests arrived was truly special. The anticipation was palpable, and their reaction was everything we hoped for. Olivia’s heartfelt comment about it feeling like we plucked the vision straight from her mind was such a rewarding moment for us! 🥹

It was a testament to the collaborative process we had engaged in leading up to the big day, ensuring every detail resonated with their vision and love story. The joy on their faces as they stepped into their dream ceremony space was a reminder of why we love what we do. 🤍

Overall, it was a magical day, and we’re so thrilled to have been part of Olivia and Billy’s journey. 🫶🏻

We started on this journey with Olivia and Billy a little over a year ago, and we can’t believe that they’re finally married! This past year working with them has a been a dream. They wanted their event to be moody and romantic with vintage speakeasy easy vibes, and they wanted everything to feel cozy and comfortable for their guests. One of my favorite parts of the night was when they saw their ceremony design. It was so special to share that moment with them - queue the tears, ha! But most importantly, they wanted the event to feel authentically theirs. Olivia and her mom designed all of the signage and paper elements for the day. They featured hand written notes on their cocktail napkins, had the most beautiful memorial altar, and added the sweetest touches with their welcome and bar signage. We truly felt their unique presence shining through in even the smallest detail.

The genuine kindness we received from Olivia and Billy throughout the entire planning process and on the day of their event was immeasurable. When we met their families, we felt like we had known them for years. It was such an honor to be there for them and advocate for them on such a special day - 13 years in the making!

Thank you, O + B for trusting us and allowing us to play such a large role in your day. We miss y’all already, but can’t wait to catch up with you both in the future! Sending all the love and kindness to you both, and Buggs 🖤🐶

Not even a little rain could have dampened Christa and Parfait’s wedding day! We began the day with a heavy downpour, and just when we were ready to transition to plan “B” for the ceremony, the skies cleared perfectly in time for these two to exchange their “I Do’s.”

Things we’ll never forget from this day…

All the happy tears, the surprise hand grenades, the photo reference at your dinner from the movie old school, the cold and rainy day that wasn’t “ideal” for plan “A” ceremony but it made the day romantic and more intimate, how the rain cleared up enough and just in time for the second line that still remains as one of our favorites, the mini pies, the late night pizza and fries, the tequila shots in the speak easy lounge we created, the emo music dance party and the sparkler exit send off in the rain. 🥹
Things we’ll never forget after this day…

Becoming good friends with both of these amazing people, sharing experiences over the last two years, the parades, new traditions, lunch and dinner dates, concerts and of course Hope becoming one of the greatest assets to LJP. 🫶🏻

Help me wish the both of them a happy two year anniversary! We love y’all!! 🤍
