We would like to invite anyone who may be interested in joining our group (whether you have any dance experience or none at all! ) to come along to a workshop and have a go - or just come along and watch, if you’re interested in this style of music and dance. it’s great exercise too! The date is Wednesday November 13th at 8pm in The Parish Hall.

Bona Brill, one of the longest lasting ceilidh bands in this area, are appearing for a St Catherine's Hospice fund raiser on 26th October. If you know the Okeey Dokee band you might recognise some faces ! And that well know rocker Allan Bailey's there as well !!

St Nicholas Church is organising a fundraising evening of music performed by local musicians on Saturday, 19th October at 7:00 pm The aim is to raise funds for the repair and renewal of the St Nicholas Church roof. Although we hope to acquire grants to meet a large part of the cost, grant giving bodies like to see that applicants have made their own efforts to raise funds. The costs for this project will be considerable The evening will last for approximately 2 hours with an interval. Soft drinks and nibbles will be provided. BYOB – Alcoholic drinks can be brought along and glasses will be availablePlease come along to support both the roof and the musicians who will be performing for free

Great night in the Parish Hall Friday with Allan Bailey's incredible band followed by a terrific line up of performers today, Saturday. Thanks to all the performers and volunteers. Sun held out until after 4pm then the heavens opened. We adjourned to the church where Dave Hook entertained everybody with a fine acoustic performance until a temporary pa was set up (Thanks Dave Toye !) and away we went with a finale from the amazing Okee Dokee band. Thanks to all who took part and don't forget we're back tomorrow from 1100 to around 3:30pm !

Last chance to buy one of the few remaining tickets for tonights opening event in the Charlwood Music Festival. ALLAN BAILEY and his Music in the Parish Hall. Tickets at our village cafe, 52 The Street until they close at 4pm. After that phone the number on the poster !!

And remember, this year the Music Festival goes on into Sunday until 4pm ! See the poster for details !

Its our Music Festival next week end. Need some volunteers for the bar's please. Anyone got an hour (or more!) to spare ?
We need help Friday night (in the parish hall - ALLAN BAILEY Band) between 8pm and 11pm.
