We’re for people who want to know that their wedding suppliers understand that the + in LGBTQ+ includes a beautiful diverse group of people whose gender identity or sexual orientation goes beyond the heteronormative wedding industry (and world) that we’re working hard to change, for the better.
Why do we want to change it? Because it’s simply not catering (enough) to every person who’s planning their dream day. It’s ice-cream without jelly, tea without biscuits, and Pride without a rainbow. That’s where we come in. Taaa daaaa!
Our wedding suppliers, (you’ll find them on The List) are committed to learning about, and promoting inclusivity and they have, or soon will have, worked with us to keep their business language inclusive and representative. We share insight and knowledge with our suppliers, with a little help from Nova Reid. Nova is an inspiring diversity advocate and consultant and wedding industry expert and is the author of multi-awarding winning wedding blog, Nu Bride.
