Happy International Women's Day! Celebrating the grace and grit of all the women who came before us. This is my grandmother with my mom and uncle. I love this photo of her. She worked for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. She learned to drive as soon as she was able...when most women did not. She never wanted to be in a situation where she couldn't do something (drive) because she had not learned how. She lived in a time period when women had very few rights so she took advantage of every opportunity she could to the fullest. She traveled the world...except anywhere behind "the iron curtain". She was so strong but had the best ability to laugh at herself and find joy and appreciation in the smallest moments. She raised an equally strong, adventurous, smart, capable daughter and I hope to continue this with my daughter. Celebrate the women in your life and honor them with your own grace and grit. It is contagious. Feel free to share any moments you have of the incredible women in our lives. I would love to hear the stories.

Professional photos from this very busy 2024 season are starting to come in. It is like Christmas for florists! I love reminiscing about the year, taking time to look back and appreciate each event and each lovely amazing bride. I really have been fortunate to have the nicest families to work with and amazing photographers capturing these magic moments. I want to start with this beautiful light and airy wedding (photo 1 . )This wonderful bride had a clear vision of her florals but was torn on the color palette. We did lots of samples to figure it out and I am so happy with how her bouquets turned out. The BEST part of this story is that she was referred to me by one of my favorite clients from 3 years ago (photo 2 ) It is so incredibly rewarding when a past client is so happy with the job you did that they feel confident hyping you up to one of their close friends. Thank you both and .gaudette for allowing me to create beautiful florals for your incredibly special days!

The coolest thing just happened to me. I had a bride reach out to me because she had her wedding bouquet that I made in 2021 tattooed on her arm! I am so incredibly flattered. It was a style I did not have a lot of experience with but I love working with clients to make their vision come to life. This was really special and I am so glad she shared with me. A great reminder at the end of a busy season of why I do this- I get to be a part of people's most important celebrations. I take it seriously and put a lot of love and care into making my client's vision come to life!

Nantucket was a blast this past weekend. I had the pleasure of working with the amazing crew of and so, so lucky to have on board helping make everything better and smoother like this transition from church entry to get away car for the bride and groom. Also a special thanks to for all the hard work and long hours. We were a small but mighty team this weekend and I can't wait to share more photos soon.
