What is it? ~We're bringing big-name Christian Performers to Windsor, ON, proving there is a market for good quality Christian entertainment, and providing a safe place for people to encounter Christ. Where is it? ~The Chrysler Theatre is a neutral location, creating a non-threatening environment for folks to feel at ease while enjoying a great concert experience - making connecting with God and
believers a positive experience. Why should I support these events?
~By supporting these events you prove that you are indeed part of the Body. You help provide a safe place for people to discover the love of God, and you show our community that you believe that we should set aside our denominational differences and become united as the Body of Christ. By supporting one another's ministries we will catch many more fish!!! Together we can accomplish so much more: when our hearts are in one accord, we will more powerfully bless our community. Acts 4, Acts 5:12. OUR MISSION:
We're sowing the seeds of power, might, blessing, hope and change. We're breaking the strongholds that bind us as the Church, bridging the gap between Christian denominations. We're sowing seeds of unity in the Church. We're eliminating the excuses that Christians use to hand-cuff one another's ministries - that ridiculous belief that unless you attend a particular church it's inappropriate to attend their special events. This absurd belief keeps every church feeling defeated - "No one wants to come to our events! How can we make a difference if no one comes?!" It's time to support each others' ministries, because we each appeal to a different variety of 'fish'! If we work together, support each other, we WILL 'catch' so many more! It's time to lay down our denominational differences and embrace our common beliefs. It's time to come together in one accord: Acts 4, Acts 5:12. It is through our unity, as Jesus prayed (that we be one as He and the Father are one) that through us He can do His mighty works! When the spirit of division is at work, we are defeated! But now we are rising up and taking our places in the power of Christ! We are also crumbling the stumbling block that prevents new people from approaching Christ. Most new people are too intimidated to enter a church building, but by offering a neutral venue, someplace familiar, they can have a safe non-threatening place to encounter Christ. They'll feel at ease while enjoying a great concert experience - making connecting with God and believers a positive experience. Our hope is that as they enjoy their night they will decide to seek a church out later, or at least, feel loved and encouraged for having attended. And when they feel loved and encouraged, they will feel inspired with kindness and generosity. Bridging our denominational gaps and making people feel loved and encouraged - THIS is how we will powerfully begin to impact our community!
