Why do we love them so much? Let us count the ways:

1. If nothing else, it gives you a chance to practice your vows before having to say them in front of all your guests. We’re big fans of anything that helps you feel more at ease and confident on your day!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. When done after a 1st look, this can be one of the most intimate parts of the day. We’ve seen so many couples have the most heartfelt, unabashed reactions during their private vow exchanges before their ceremonies (just look at & during theirs)! And many of those same couples told us they would have felt more pressure to clamp down on those reactions during the ceremony. However, since they already knew what to expect, the pressure was off! See that last line of reason 1.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. If you’re having video or content creation on your day, doing a private vow exchange both gives more opportunities for movement and provides variety in your content. BONUS: you have backup audio if, for some reason, something occurs during your ceremony that interferes with the audio. Win-win-win!
