When in Rome 🇮🇹🍷
A little late on posting this but oh well! The trip was one of deep reflection - though I was also trying to ignore some serious tooth pain the entire time. Turns out I needed root canal treatment when I got back haha, but let’s not dwell on that!
For those who know me, beyond DJ’ing, you probably also know about my passion for wine. It all started during a trip to Paris years ago, and since then, I’ve been committed to learning more about it and helping make the industry more inclusive. In September, I had the privilege of joining an incredible wine education trip to Rome with six like minded members of the community.
Our Italian wine adventure was unforgettable! We kicked things off in Lazio at the beautiful .official vineyard, nestled just two hours outside of Rome. Surrounded by stunning mountain views and a coastal breeze, we toured the winery, sampled their wines, and capped it all off with an amazing dinner with the estate’s heads. Day two took us to in Umbria, where vineyards stretched endlessly over the rolling hills. We learned so much from the winemakers, indulged in wine tasting paired with lunch, and wandered through the picturesque town of Montefalco. Having recently visited Campania, the Italian hospitality was in full show, from .official and truly deepened my love for Italian wines. 🍷✨
