Last week we had the honor of touring the Museum of Ventura County. They have a great indoor and outdoor space for weddings and events! Just check out their amazing outdoor space! There's even a waterfall hidden in the back! The doors on the far left side open up to direct access to the Mission!

Today my mom would have been 70 years old! It's hard to imagine her at 70, she passed away early into her 50's. I'm sure she'd have about the same hair, maybe she'd finally let it go fully grey. I'm sure she would have picked up some more crafting hobbies to keep her busy, and would have traveled all over the world making new memories. We miss you mama.

Throwback Thursday! Did you know that you can get married on the UCLA campus?? That's exactly what Jillian & Mitch did! They picked some of their favorite buildings to get married in front of. Their centerpieces were potted orchids that guests got to take home to enjoy! And a few guests even stayed at the hotel that is right on the UCLA campus! It was an amazing day!

Feeling Friday!
Our family loves camping! We have a Tent Trailer which is very easy to pull with almost any SUV we've had. Hoping to upgrade soon for our large family. Where is your favorite place to camp? If you go camping, we love San Diego and Santa Barbara for close trips.

Tip Tuesday!
Dressing for a wedding rehearsal is not as straight forward as a wedding. Always as the bride for guidance. For the groom dress as formal or casual as your bride. She's likely to be the best dressed person at the wedding rehearsal, and you should aim for the second best. If she's wearing a cocktail dress, you should be in a suit. Add accessories that will complement hers. If she's wearing a blue dress, try to find a matching blue tie. For a day dress, you should be in slacks, a collared shirt and necktie at minimum. Also consider the rehearsal venue to determine if you should add a jacket. A rehearsal at a country club warrants one. A local restaurant or relative's home may not.
If she is dressing a bit more casual, wear slacks and a collared shirt. Only wear jeans to your wedding rehearsal if your bride is as well.

Marketing Monday!
We recently got a tour of Whiskey Red's in Marina Del Rey. This beautiful location has the option of having your ceremony outside on 2 different patios, with a view of the harbor. You can also have your reception both inside or outside depending on your guest count and what view you'd enjoy more. Nearby the sea lions play in the water, and the pelicans fly over, such a beautiful spot for your guests and yourself!

Last night there was 4 hanging out on our porch. After a long school year of growth and heartbreak. It definitely seemed fitting. Let the summer fun begin!
