What a celebration and raising of sovereignty with the dark masculine at the weekend. Equally as powerful for men too.

🖤Honoured to have done this workshop with a raising of sovereignty contemplation followed by a dark masculine photoshoot.

🖤Something very significant and powerful hapoens when you ask people not to smile.
To hold their head up.
To feel they are powerful in their own life.
To feel they have agency, control, sovereignty.
To watch their eyes start to express themselves.
To take on the mantle of action-taker instead of reaction-giver.

This really is a 'thing'. And wow, what a 'thing'.

Living completely within our light feminine energy can lead to us experiencing the shadow side of this.

Acknowledging our dark energy means embracing all parts of our 'self' including those areas we have hidden, repressed, suppressed or less accepted.

Embracing and living through both our light and dark feminine energy helps us to reclaim all areas of 'self' and our whole being.

My favourite moon of the year🖤
The Hunter's moon.
And the biggest supermoon of the year.

One of the most auspicious points of the year for shadow work on ourselves.

Our emotions and senses are heightened and anything hidden in our shadows can be seen and shifted.

If we're feeling stuck, or life seems to be at a standstill, if we are still repeating negative behaviour patterns, this is a powerful time to acknowledge the shadows in ourselves.
To look at blockages and negative energy with solutions and ways forward.

We can use our dark feminine energy to set our boundaries, to make life happen, to be bold and confident.
🖤To set our intentions for our lives to move forward🖤

What's holding us back?
What do we dream of?
How will we move forward?

What has been repressed can come to light and only then can we build the life we want.

Heal, cleanse and throw out the negative.
Move ourselves into a new, positive direction.

Dark feminine rising🖤
Expressing ourselves proudly to the world🖤

Balance of light AND dark within ourselves.

The dark feminine aspects of self are the ones we usually hide or suppress.
Sometimes through fear of retribution, not being accepted or trying to conform to the norms of our life or expectations of society and the circles we move in.

The dark feminine does not replace the light, but should sit alongside it. In this way, acknowledgement of both can lead to a greater personal growth, resilience and mindset. Reclaiming our whole self.

Dark feminine characteristics are confidence, self awareness, intuition, sensuality, complexity, chaos, wisdom, creativity and destruction, empowerment, mystery, rebellion, hedonism and independence.

Both light and dark have their own shadow side too of course which we can descend into if we only try to live in one. Our service to others can mean we deny our own desire for something, our hedonism can mean we don't attend to the practical day to day.

And while it is a question of balance, so many of us repress our own desires, our emotions etc. our aims, our ambitions, our boundaries.

Dark feminine energy is a recognition of our own power in our own world.
To stand tall and own every part of ourself.
To express our self proudly to the world.
