The Mackinac Island Music Festival was created to celebrate the musicians living and working on Mackinac Island as well as regional and national touring musicians. Musical genres have included folk, country, rock, blues, bluegrass, classical, jazz and country. What started as a one day event expanded to a three-day festival and was one of Mackinac Island’s most exciting festivals of the season.

Thanks for all the great messages. The music festival ended in 2013.

Today, the Mackinac Arts Council offers concerts in the park during peak summer, be sure to check them out, they are doing good work by bringing a variety of arts programming to Mackinac Island.
